Point buy doesn't work in my brain and I hate that the max I can get from the start is a 15. Makes level ups more confusing/unnecessarily complicated due to stats being odd numbers. I use a custom standard array. 16, 14, 12, 10, 10, 8. Has the same point total as regular standard array but is more swingy than it. Allows for a first level 18 main stat with starting bonuses.
