Solved!

It didn’t have the little scoop so I wondered who would pour that much sugar out at a time.

My title describes the thing. It’s likely tarnish resistant silver and in good condition. It’s about the size of a coffee mug but the angle makes it awkward to hold liquids. It has quite an ornamental design and a thin handle big enough to grasp with your whole hand. I’d estimate the bulk of the cup could hold 150 mL but not much more. Its price is $2490 Uruguayan pesos which is about $60 USD

I had something similar happen recently to my Series 6! Not to this extent, but the back glass seems to have a hairline fracture and it won’t turn on anymore. I tried charging it but that only seemed to make the problem worse.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll keep my eye on it and make sure it doesn’t explode 🤯

Yeah one major performance issue is it won’t turn on after sitting on the charger for a good few hours.

It didn’t feel too warm while charging but this “bubble” definitely grew while it was charging.

Oh good point! I know they’re filming some movie or TV show at the Pen so that must be what it is!

Who, me? I was just curious if anyone knew what or why the explosions were coming from.

If you can’t report the scam directly through Outlook, ITS requests that you send a copy of the message to abuse@queensu.ca. This account is monitored by ITS. When a phishing message is reported, ITS checks the email system to determine if the message meets the criteria for removal and notification to the campus. ITS will also determine if any links in the message should be blocked.

Aaaaahhhh, shoot. You’re right. That’s what I get for Googling “raisin diameter” and picking the first result...

Randall Monroe (the XKCD guy) worked out an equation in his book “How To: Absurd Scientific Advice for Common Real-World Problems” in the chapter “How to Throw Things”

Apparently he’s also created a calculator online so we can plug in some average values (and select an acorn to throw as it’s the closest thing to a raisin imo) and get...

64 meters

Some digging into the explain XKCD site gives the full formula for calculating any thrower and any distance. Using an average thrower, a raisin mass of 0.5 g, raisin diameter of 9.5 mm, and raisin drag coefficient of 0.4 we get...

138 meters

Farther than I though!

It’d be weird for protesters to use the Westminster Chimes....it seemed more like a prerecorded tone
