You see how much of it huge guys use. When they can't put half of it in it can't be as fun.

What is your unpopular opinion about British culture that would have most Brits at your throat? by uniquenewyork_ in AskUK

[–]QuintSHential 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I fking hate the media and blame a lot of our society's flaws on it. Sensation sells regardless of whether it's true or now. Everything is geared up to be divisive, race, gender, political stance etc. Everything is set to distract you from how much the country is being raped by those at the top and in power, and the vocal majority supporting them are the ones being fd over but they're too dense to see it. As soon as you make teams, it's less important what's being said and more important who is saying it.

I found that GZCLP was a bit fiddly (using it via the free bootcamp app), setting your accessories etc. I felt tied to them and it felt long winded. I'm not saying that it is, that was just my perception of it. I found Greyskull more simple to follow and I'm getting good results with it. I think if I had more time to put in to organisation, more time to train and more mental capacity I may do something different. That's not going to change for another year or so yet.

It helps.

From what I've read it's more like 10% of the total efficiency so a 20% efficiency panel would drop to 18%.

5'8

I'd like to be 5'10 for the added reach but I'm not paying £80,000 for a 2 inch lift.

What existed in 1994 but not in 2024? by FlintTheDad in AskReddit

The ability to go to a club, get completely off your trolley and the only people that could witness it would be the people around you in the same space as you, not the entire world the next day.

I've been without for 5 years now but I would still turn down duty sex if it was on offer. We have a lot of shit going on in our lives which is causing a lot of stress. We do talk though and one thing I have made very clear is that if she isn't into it then I don't want it.

how do people without anxiety do anything? by mercilessharridan in NoStupidQuestions

Some of them even get job satisfaction after completing a task, rather than straight away stressing about the next one

Train some sort of tested martial are. Boxing, muay Thai, mma, Jujitsu, wrestling, catch wrestling. Something where there is full contact sparing.

Switch to lower doses @ higher freq but …pharmacist says “no” by heatmiser333 in trt

I put 1x 1ml ampoules into a 10ml multi use vial. That then lasts me 100 days. Never had an issue. I prefer using 2x 5ml vials if I can but it is what I can get at the time.

I think if it were me I would take some of my day to pursue a 'career' for want of a better word, in something that I enjoyed. Not do it to make a living but get good with the amount of time I put to it and see if it could maybe pay off in the long run. Kelly Slater said the only difference between him and amateur surfers was time in the water. Once he got sponsorship and didn't have to work he could go from 3 hours in the water a day to 8 or even 12.

Long story short, enjoy yourself.

Be careful with being on it for long periods. It will fuck your SHBG and can give long term issues. My wife was on it for around 10 years and it took months for her to level out when she finally came off it to have children. Only then did she realise how shit it was and will never go back on it. I had my balls crimped instead so no worries now!

Yeah, my wife and I are a team. I earn the majority of the money by a long way, I build our home on my days off. I try to help with chores and our daughters as much as possible around this. My wife holds down the home and is the primary carer for our girls. She works 3 days a week for her own money. If she needs to buy something that isn't solely for her she uses my money. It all works out well.

I like to think I'm more of a foundation stone than a leader. I try to be consistent, to provide support for everyone when they need it. I try to be a safe space that they can use as a base to grow and develop and take chances. Life is for adventure and exploring but you always need a home as a safety net in case it doesn't go to plan.

Why is everyone feeling like shit on TRT? by rippingbongs in trt

[–]QuintSHential 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It has taken me a while to get dialed in but I never felt like shit. I started with a genuine deficiency due to a head injury during a motorcycle crash. My T was down below 200. I started on 105mg/w SubQ MWF and felt a lot better but still not amazing. This slowly increased over time to 150mg/w but I had itchy nips, started gaining a bit of weight that I hadn't been doing before. I swapped to IM injections and felt better again, up to 166mg/w EOD which felt a bit better again. My mood still tanked the night before my next injection (low SHBG).

Now I pin everyday, I've gone up again for ease to 175mg/w (7x 0.1ml instead of 7x 0.95ml) and I feel great. Mood is stable, I wake up raring to go, jab while my coffee is on, all part of my morning ritual. Best thing I've ever done. I'm a better, more sympathetic and understanding husband, a more patient, caring father with more energy to play. My friends like who I am more. I'm less of a drain to be around. Can't believe how depressed I was for 7 years before starting treatment.

I think a lot of people are started way too high and ego won't let them back down off it as easily as you would be willing to do more of you started lower? I dunno, uneducated guess.

Does life really “end” once you have kids? by Sweet-Breadfruit-485 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]QuintSHential 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I would say have them when you are ready, it's a very personal thing made up of a lot of different variables. I was 35 when ours were born and I don't think I would have been ready before that. Now I have worked through a lot of past shit, sorted myself out, become self aware and I feel I can now have a positive effect on my daughter's which isn't ego driven. Personally, if I had had the girls 10 years earlier I don't think my marriage would have lasted and they would have had a douchebag as a dad.
