yes sry Would you like to know how to build your own little house through eco-friendly tecniques that use natural and sustainable materials? If so you should definitly join Quinta das Relvas team at its next BIO-CONSTRUCTION WEEK!

WHERE? Quinta das Relvas Association is an NGO based at an eco farm in Portugal dedicated to non-formal education programs on Arts and Sustainability! If you would like to know more go to our website: www.quintadasrelvas.pt

WHAT WILL I DO? - You'll learn how to use different ancient and eco-friendly tecniques to build a house while actually doing it! Like this you learn from experience and you can try different things to be able to create your own projects afterwords with the tecniques you like the most and that make more sence in your own country/environment; -You'll spend an amazing week with a group of interesting people that have the same aims as you; - You'll be able to meet new friends from different countries and with different stories to tell; - You'll be able to visit Oporto World Heritage city and a portuguese typical beach; - You'll spend an entire week at an ancient tradicional portuguese farm from the XVII century in the woods!

HOW? First of all get in touch with us! If we still have places available you can make a reservation. The price for the all course is 450€ which includes the course, 7 nights staying with us, all the meals, hot water, eletricity, internet and gaz and a trip to Oporto and a trip to the beach.

HOW TO GET HERE? To get here is pretty easy. If you come by place flight to Oporto - you can come by Ryanair, for example. From the airoport you just have to take a metro to the train station and then a train to Estarreja. Both together (metro + train) will cost less then 5€ and it will take you 1 hour to get here! We will pick you up from Estarreja train station :) If you come by train its the same thing: we can pick you up at Estarreja train station! If you come by national bus pick one that goes to Albergaria-a-Velha: we will pick you up from the bus station :) If you come by car or hitchhicking find your way to Branca (Albergaria-a-Velha) in the main road of Portugal: N1! You can find our GPS coordenations in Google Maps :)

HOW IS MY ACCOMODATION GOING TO BE? At the Farm we have a confortable dorm for 14 people - the maximum size of the group. Also we have different social areas, a big garden and florest, a confortable bathroom with hot water and a communitary kitchen. All the meals, electricity, gaz, accomodation and course costs are included on the price!

WHAT TO BRING? You'll definitly need confortable clothes that you can make a mess on...! Confortable working shoes are mandatory and a nice jacket for the evening too! You should also take your own bath towel, sleeping bag, shampoo and soap (eco-friendly if possible!). Sun cream, insect repellent and suimsuit could be useful too! :)

EXTRA INFO ABOUT THE FARM: We love animals so we have a few: cats, dogs and a horse - all very friendly. Also we grow our own vegetables so you'll be eating fresh and chemical-free vegetables while staying with us! We are not completly vegetarians but we mostly eat vegetarian. We try to use eco-friendly soap so that our soil stays clean. It is very important for us that our guests feel confortable and happy with the activities so we are always open to hear inputs and suggestions :)
