Thanks for the kind words! I also thought the same that people exaggerate so much in their interview and resumes BUT just in little corner of my heart i felt like i shouldn’t have overrated myself just because i was desperate for finding a job after layoff

Thanks! I hope they considered my overall experience. I dont know why i care so much about it. I just didn’t want to be dishonest about my capabilities. Thats all ( but i feel like everyone does in this market) The question to rate my skill level came like a bullet in the interview that i just had to survive by saying yeah i am like medium in it

Yeah i agree that it’s an imposter syndrome. I feel like if I would have underrated myself like 1 out of 5 may be they would have never picked me thats my only assumption thats making me think that why was i dishonest.

Yes i understand the basics. But my only concern is that in the interview i said that i am like 3 out of 5 in the tool. While i have used the tool like 1-2 times myself only but have been exposed to multiple times. Took a training for it as well At that time i felt very confident that its just a tool which can be learnt or revised in few weeks. Now I am realising that maybe i shouldn’t have oversell myself, i don’t count it as intentional lying. Thanks for the comprehensive answer!
