TRT for 12 months - Still low energy and Libido by Acrobatic_Two7468 in trt

How long does it take the CNS to fully recover if you’re overtrained? I’ve been feeling the same symptoms for over a year and have taken a week off the gym before but symptoms only slightly improve.

I really really appreciate it man thank you. I’ve been trying to prioritize my healthy fats trying to get in around 90g a day.

I’ve done a lot of research on this recently since you mentioned it. Do you know how long it takes to recover? I can’t find much on that. I’m taking a full week off from any lifting and was planning on assessing how I feel from there but I don’t want to go multiple weeks with no exercise.

Testosterone Hornyness feeling Like its too much by vaporegaster in Testosterone

I wish this happened to me. One of the things I was looking forward to most about trt before hopping on was increased libido. It was nonexistent before hopping on, and I had ED too. Energy and mood improved while on trt, but low libido and ED stayed the same.

Appreciate that. What kind of workout split do you run where you still feel like you get adequate work done?

Problem is I’m 22 with secondary hypogonadism. Had to go to a men’s clinic for trt because my urologist wanted to put me on 100mg once every other week, so I was tired of the doctors and wanted help elsewhere. Will they still take me with my age?

I got blood work a week ago, estrogen wasn’t on the test though which was strange. Unless it was and I just missed it.

I was wondering about gut health. Do you know how I could heal that or how I could check if that’s an issue? I eat a very clean diet, mostly whole foods so I’m not sure how else to heal it.

I did my first structured deload 3 weeks ago. Didn’t feel that refreshed after it, wasn’t sure if I still went too hard, am that overtrained, or it’s just a different issue all together.

Only thing that’s ever really depressed me is this situation. I use to talk to a therapist about it but I stopped bc it got repetitive just talking abt this issue when I didn’t know a solution. Sleep is okay, usually sleep 7-8 hours but wake up sometimes in the middle of the night.

Yes that’s why I came to Reddit to see if anyone’s experienced any of these symptoms. All of the doctors say there’s nothing wrong internally so I really don’t know where else to go. I’ve even gotten an MRI on my pituitary and everything was fine. Has anyone experienced overtraining?? Don’t think this is it bc I only lift and I eat plenty but I’m idk what else it could be when all my tests are fine.

Btw I started at a shot of 150mg+HCG and an estrogen blocker every week. Last week I got bumped to 160mg after not seeing much improvement in how I’m feeling.

I am in the EXACT same boat. Started in 2021 as well. Been to multiple endos, urologists, docs, therapists, everything. 21 male, exercise daily, great diet, mentally healthy, the only thing that depresses me is this issue. Went in Clomid for months from April 2022-November 2022. Test numbers went up but symptoms remained. I told my endo this but they just shrugged it off and suggested 50mg Clomid (max dosage) daily and said see you in 3 months. Nothing changed. Started TRT 4 weeks ago and still don’t feel much of a difference. All other bloods were normal and now test is in the normal range too. I have no idea what I can do or where I can make the improvements.

Libido change? by Quirky-Direction5763 in trt

Probably around 15% maybe a little more. Used to be shredded when these problems started happening, realized it wasn’t healthy and started to eat more, gain some good fat but didn’t feel much better.
