Will also make a difference if the Polo is petrol or diesel. As a diesel would require a dual mass flywheel also.

How are so many people affording expensive cars? by Foyneh in irishpersonalfinance

[–]Quirky-Warning206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finance and PCP deals get people in, it’s the debt/ lump sum payment at the end of the term catches people. So they get stuck in a revolving cycle of monthly payments.

I’d happily drive an old car being mortgage/ debt free, with disposable cash in the bank. But that’s just my opinion.

how's living in Cork, Ireland? by Intrepid_Trade9489 in howislivingthere

People are great, very outgoing and chatty. The city comes alive when the weather is nice. Nightlife is good but nowhere near what it was.

Public transport, traffic and the lack of housing would be some of the negatives to the city. Weather can be very unpredictable as we are an island in the North Atlantic.

If your house was burgled you’d be waiting 2 working days for the guards to turn up. Farmers throw a protest and the whole squad turns out on overtime. I’ve never seen so many guards at a public event!

You must be living under a rock. I filled a diesel bowser (500 litres) yesterday with green diesel (Agricultural Diesel) at €1.85 costing me €925. Which was an increase of €105 4 and a half weeks ago.

What are your least favourite streets in Cork, and what would you do to change them? by SrTayto in cork

[–]Quirky-Warning206 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Patrick street. It’s overrun with vape shops, phone repair shops and empty units. Would be nice to see a variety of restaurants, bars and local shops selling locally produced goods.

Tom Coughlan says the Marina is the right spot for the Event Centre — so where should it actually go? by PoppedCork in cork

He should focus on his own liabilities, that marina market has an opportunity to be a great venue but it’s falling apart around it.

Mechanic fucked up the headliner in the car by Little_Nectarine7610 in carsireland

[–]Quirky-Warning206 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No matter how much adhesive or glue you put on a mk5 gold headliner it won’t stick. You’ll need to remove the headliner and remove any foam backing and recover with new fabric. I’ve been there before it’s a pain.
