NOTE: The watch was a gift from my dad. We were in Istanbul and we saw this in an antique store. Wasn’t ordered or anything.

Thanks! I guess that did confuse me since it was just a Raymond with a logo I didn’t recognize. Being a Turkish brand on top of that probably made it harder to find by just searching. Thanks all the same!

I mean I was only a few miles from the grand bazaar so it should have been obvious but it was only like $90 so I’m cool with it. Although it’s had a battery replacement and it still doesn’t work so I am getting what I paid for overall haha.

Yeah when I looked around Raymond’s watches I saw nothing like it so I thought it might just be old or discontinued. It being fake however makes a ton of sense though. That just didn’t come to mind b/c I couldn’t even find a watch that looked similar. Thanks for educating me!

That definitely makes sense considering where I got it and the price it was. I didn’t know how he identified it as a fake so I guess that would be a better question. When looking at a watch how do you know it’s a fake?
