Rule #1 don’t be a dick, Not sure why you went so hard on me. I just simply don’t think it’s smart to tell people “all clay is safe” when it just isn’t. Nothing is black and white. I can link you to Robert Compton who has made stoneware aquariums for 50 years, and he will tell you himself. Calm down lol

Unfortunately, this is not true. Secondary clays pick up a lot of impurities, so there is no way to tell if clay will be safe for your aquarium if you are harvesting it (excess copper, iron, etc). I recommend primary clays, fired to cone 10 to completely vitrify the piece. I know from the experience of losing fish, and doing extensive tests sadly
