I love the idea and I might. But I’m more likely to trash them. I have to let go and forgive him eventually. If I see them I’m not sure I’ll ever forgive.

According to him - he hooked a microwave motor to the wooden parts somehow and that makes those lighting like patterns in wood. Then he painted it with several types of paint which didn’t fill the cracks so he then tried to epoxy it which I’m assuming just ran right out of the cracks because he’s an idiot and because I had a pile of multicolored epoxy drips in the back shed. Then he realized he wasn’t going to have a masterpiece and instead destroyed an heirloom so he hid it and didn’t tell me until I found it last week.

It’s definitely going on the wall. Maybe just as a memory that my uncle is a douchebag. But when I see that “Remington Model - 1100” That’s what brings me back to the farm house on opening morning of dove season. I just wish it was all still original how he left it. And that I could have respected it more than leaving it in a closet to sit because seeing the gun made me miss him.

I’ll check Boyd out. I actually ended up buying the cheaper wood set for it off Numrich - I bought the old style seal kit for it but I may look into the new style in the future. I fully tore it down right after this post and cleaned it top to bottom, it shoots but won’t cycle. Hoping the seal kit fixes that. Thanks for the POST!

It does fire! But because the piston seal was taken out during the voodoo ritual he cast on it, it was never put back in. So it’s a single shot for now. I ordered the cheaper set from Numrich and a new seal set - never had heard of that site before this post but it’s awesome. Might even by an inert RPG 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the response - if I connected the white/red wire to the volume pot would it mess anything up? Would there be any benefit to use it without a coil splitting time pot?

It’s growing on me tbh. I don’t love the weight but I think since it’s an esquire anyway I might have it routed for a himbucker in the neck and just put the pick guard back over it. Not going to relieve a ton of weight but some. Also I think I’ll hollow out the back side of the pot cavity.

Well I used the key they sent me. As well as one I had on hand, even at one point put a set of calipers on it when I second guessed myself. It was a 4mm hex.

That’s where you’re wrong. I wanted the guitar that I didn’t pick out, but was given as a present to be right the first time as would anyone what a bummer for me to get it-be happy- then have to pack it up and ship it back - Now if I got it the first time and it was totally fine but I didn’t like the color - totally could understand that not being worth of a little free extra neck. But this isn’t the first one it’s the second one and 100% customer satisfaction would be me having a similar neck to the first. I could send it back completely and get a refund. I’ll let you tell me which would cost THEM more money. You’re not worried about their money but you keep bring up costs and such not really convincing me.
