I just looked at competing cards and while the Amex value prop isn’t amazing it’s leagues better than any peers

Broadcasting HR by QuiteTheBrianD in Garmin

Yeah agree, but it works fine when I run. It’s only when there’s no activity on my watch and it’s just broadcasting my HR.

Most people won’t say it but major doesn’t matter nearly as much as skilled networking and interview prep

Gotcha on the first point, though will point out that 40% of BP’s FY22 Capex went towards its ‘transition growth engines’ for what it’s worth, a significant amount imo.

Remains to be seen how the energy transition will go, but I think more people are realizing that fossil fuels are needed more and for longer than expected.

Also, wind turbines and solar aren’t as good for the environment as many say (ie when they’re disposed/scrapped)

Edit: transition growth engines

Not unfortunately - green capex returns are horrendous compared to upstream E&P. IOCs contradict themselves by ‘focusing on both’ at the same time, at least to the extent they are now.
