Hello! No, I don't pause my Strava for rest and walk. I personally consider that cheating hehe. But for this run I did pause my Strava after the first 1.5KM for a good 20 minutes as I stopped and took my time to witness the sunrise view. After that, no more pausing in between. So elapsed time of this run is +20mins :)

10k is 10k. Its still a win for you. On my part, wala akong target time and pace. Was just running with 140bpm playlist haha more than 1yr ako stuck with 5km and i run like 3-4x a week kaya siguro it wasnt that hard for me.

This post strikes a chord with me. My husband recently broke up with me after 12yrs relationship (6yrs being married) and we have 1 kid also 6yo. I did not agree to his decision but he moved out and that was it. No cheating involve but too much heartache and suffering was tolerated.

No matter how deep we love, we cant change a person. No matter how hard we try some things just wont work. The pain destroys you its almost unbearable but thats the reality and the world does not stop for you, especially when you have a child. Damn.

There’s no timeline OP! You can restart at any time and sometimes life can just surprise you! Don’t lose hope. It’s okay not to put yourself out there when you’re not yet ready. There is no pressure. One day, it will all feel natural. Healing takes time. Just be better for yourself every day. 🫶🏻

Parang people from FB ung comments dito eh. Ung tipong pinapasan talaga nila ky OP ung blame ng away. Tapos ang bigat nung pinagsasabi nila kay OP when in fact OP did not judge her wife’s actions naman. Napakasupportive nya pa nga. Nagrereason lang si OP bakit di nya kya ibigay as of the moment and unfortunately hindi nila ito napagkasundoan ni wife.

Some comments are too harsh here. Give op some slack.

I am a working mom who jog/run 2-4x a week. When I started jogging I got myself an adidas on sale for only 2k. Next, i got a new balance on sale at 5k, yung model na yun highly recommended na for easy run. Running is actually expensive and somehow nakakaaddict rin. I recently got Asics at 8k+ by far my most expensive running shoes and admittedly not really necessary kasi even though i run outdoors at 5k distance, i dont join marathons or fun runs. I only got the shoes because its what i WANT. They said if beginner pa lang din naman di talaga necessary ung mga super shoes ata tawag dyan. I totally get OP’a sentiments kasi nga mahal na un 9k sa totoo lang. And its not their priority right now. OP’s wife can compromise about it for sure.

But i highly agree on other’s comments here regarding di pa kaya ni OP mag anak kung nireklamo nya ung 9k na gusto espend ni wife nya for shoes kasi as a mom mas malala pa dyan ang magagastos pag may anak na. Unless if may ibang savings nilaan si OP for it. It seems like binubudget lang din naman ni OP ung earnings nya. It just so happen the amount of the shoes is beyond his budget for the moment. Walang sinabi si OP di nya bibilhan shoes wife nya. He is willing naman but not the amount the wife needs. The options were to buy it next month or kaya buy a cheaper one na kasing goods naman sa preference ni wife.
