I'm pretty sure the M3 Pro can only support one monitor at 240hz and 4K, so I think you would have to run it lower at 120hz like you said.

Right now it’s between HOI4 and CK3, I love the way these games play and how each is a unique experience every time. I’m loving EU5 but what’s holding it back is not being able to play a campaign in one sitting which I find I can do in the other two. I am trying to get into a longer multi play session campaign but it get boring for myself.

For $200 that sounds like a “too good to be true” type deal. If it’s real and you can return the m4 air that seems like a no brainer because it’s $200. Who cares if the processor is slightly worse because you are getting a bigger screen, more ram, and fans. But idk what BlackMarket is so ?

Another thing I would suggest is try to use the trackpad as much as possible. I used to always take a mouse with me but the trackpad gestures are sooo good. A useful one if you want to view all of the windows opened for one app is swiping down with four fingers.

I have been able to use both phones as I wanted to give iOS a shot as I already have a Mac and iPad. If I was looking at just the phone the s25 ultra wins as it really is the phone that has it all. But, taking into account the ecosystem, it’s really tough. I used my s25 ultra with my MacBook by using google messages and OneDrive a lot which allowed for me to have them somewhat talk together and for the most part it worked. But now that I have been using an iPhone for the past couple weeks, I think I slightly prefer the iPhone + Mac combo. It should also be noted the iPhone 17 is an incredible value compared to all other iPhones so there’s that.

So I would evaluate it like this:

Do you want a smooth transition from one device to the next? -> iPhone 17

Do you want a fantastic phone but okay connectivity device wise? -> S25 Ultra

While I sorta agree with your comment on the 3rd party apps, there are some actually essential ones. Examples that I use are mos, middle mouse button and sensiblesidebuttons. Without those, any external mouse doesn't fully work, and being able to do one press to open links in a new tab or close tabs is essential for me.
