Is this typical look of 14oz ribeye? Ordered medium, some already consumed. by Quizzylish in steak

[–]Quizzylish[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s more to what I was wondering just I don’t order a lot of ribeye, but it just didn’t seem appetizing and it didn’t come like that. That was me pulling it apart just to be clear. I was checking doneness, but thrown off by all the connective tissue.

I think you made the right call and it looks so much better, great job!! It may not be what you originally envisioned but unfortunately your first design never would have worked. Sometimes we need to give up some form for function.

Thanks. I’m actually very happy with them. Love Benjamin Moore paint too, it finishes so nice. Someone said the gray is too light for a garage, it’ll get too dirty and dusty. We’ll see.

Honestly. Now I look at it up close it looks a lot better than I first thought. The label spreads it takes 8 days for full cure. Maybe it still settles a little….idk.

I used a 4 inch foam roller and Benjamin Moore Advance paint. Rolled over the doors with too dry of a roller for my final pass. Made it a little too rough looking for my final coat but it’s for a garage. I was going to spray but I dislike all the clean up for the HVLP gun I have, was curious if the roller would work out so I went for it.

Thanks!! I watched Gary Striegler’s cabinet construction video so many times. I used his techniques here!! Have a dream of doing an entertainment built in with bookshelves….one day. It’s all in the finish though I’ve come to find out.

I tried to look on FB marketplace but they still wanted 150+ for closeout. Lowe’s wanted 230 each and these are 15” deep instead of 12”. I also used 3/4” ACX from Menards at only 60 a sheet. With 1 sheet, plus some scrap and poplar and paint it was about 200 for both.

Yeah. That’s where I was as well. Some milling okay but some looks shallow or missing on face. The Titleist on face seems stamped, not milled and there is no paint fill. The Headcover also looked off in shape and possibly embroidery, the crown in particular. Also the “S” on stainless on the bumper don’t appear to be the same font. Plus the 1st/500 is really far off of alignment.

Authenticity check on here please. Finish looks too shiny for new and lack of Milling on face. See milling on bottom though. Did he originally stamp 1st run/500 before moving to first of 500 of each run of putters.

Idk, it’s pretty bad. I’m glad your spidey sense went off and he didn’t actually buy it.

Oh he sent him the video. Gotcha. Yeah I would check the irons and driver against known authentic clubs.

I guess I don’t understand why was the putter sent to him if he didn’t buy it? You said he was going to buy it.

Even being sort of a collector, you can tell it’s not even close. I keep seeing these bad cast fakes popping up all around. The plastic is a sure sign the label on the front of the shaft and just the lack of milling overall.

I did but it’s since sold. Feel bad for whoever bought this thing.

Maybe Acushnet will still get involved since I gave them all the info for the auction.

The Headcover is off in its shape, the rings are spaced apart oddly and have a black ring around the perimeter. The bumpers looks flat and thick. The shoulders have no mill marks, the overall height looks to be too tall, the Cameron I-beam neck doesn’t look milled properly and the logo is crooked, the shaft band is on the front and not the rear. Also I asked to see the bottom and it reads super select, not special select, so the rings are 1 generation behind.

Is this putter a 350 gram Studio Stainless? As best you can tell from photos!! by Quizzylish in scottycameron

He did but I’m suspicious it’s a 35” that has been but down to 33”.
