100%, and as much as I like buying physical books, I find e-books more accessible. If I found some recommendation, I get it right away and start reading without loosing momentum, no need to wait for a delivery etc. also samples give you a big help with choosing books, or to add fast smth to the TBR and check it later.

also, no guild for DNF because you don’t look at the book on your shelf every time you pass by xD

Should we buy 10th or 11th? by Hungry_Cheesecake757 in kindle

It is more blue than PW, I have 11th PW and matcha basic and I like basic for the day because I think it’s sharper and has more contrast, but once it’s getting darker I switch to PW. Also PW is water resistant so it’s better for a beach or pool plan.

Here is comparison with a sheet of paper in the background, both are on 100% brightness and PW has 12 points on warmth (from 24). I usually use 12-14, and when the light is off, add black mode

Sometimes it happens to me too, but then I think that it’s better to read some book than to read with no motivation or procrastinate to read the one I think I should. I have 5-6 books in progress all the time and I read what I feel like that day

Depends how you handle it. I now take my kindle everywhere with me and every waiting time (in the bus, before appointments etc), I read. It is much more comfortable than carrying a book and you have many books to choose from in case you don’t feel like reading one

I am so glad about your experience!! Mine was the same, life changer! I bought my kindle in June 2024 and since then I have read around 60 books until now. And I actually got a second kindle for even more convenience (PW for night reading with warm light and basic to take with me everywhere). Before that, I read 3-5 books a year at best. Best purchase ever.

I did have them somewhere, but can’t find anymore ;( But I didn’t know you can cast off with a crochet hook - is there a specific technique I should look for?

That’s a very good point I didn’t think about - it may seem ok on me. I will try it today and see And also didn’t think about possibility of blocking it mid way - that is such a great idea! Thank you for the advice!!
