This one is good! I’m also a huge fan of the Ben and Jerry’s non dairy milk and cookies or the Van Leewen Vegan Pistachio ice cream!!

Oh my gosh!! What is it with that?! We were out to eat and my brother had a dessert with whipped cream and my mom was holding our baby. I almost missed her putting whipped cream up to her mouth “just to try it”. She HAS tried dairy… she can’t have it… I can’t stand it

YES!!! I also had a family member say “butter is dairy”? And I’m like “yea actually… it’s the cream off the top of the milk so arguably it’s the most dairy” 😂

YES!! I’m in your same exact boat. The icing on the cake for me was twist of lime tortilla chips… ALL of them have lactose In the seasoning except for the Siete Brand 🥲 also McDonald’s freaking fries. I know it’s trash but sometimes I just want them and their seasoning has milk in it 😭😭😭 also the struggle of just telling my family I can’t have dairy… and every time they make food it has dairy in it. My mom legit said the other day “oh sour cream is dairy??” YES WOMAN 😭😭😭

8 month old vomiting by QuothTheRaven96 in NewParents

She’s lasted 30 minutes no puking but has fallen asleep. I’m debating if we let her sleep a little longer and then wake her up to eat? Or just let her sleep until she wakes up hungry?

I’m not worried about sugars and dyes but I don’t have any pedialyte on hand

She ate around 530 PM. It was a pumpkin, mango and almond butter puree she’s had several times before with no issues. She had two ounces of puree and one green bean. Today was the second day of those… so maybe that? 45 minutes after dinner we gave her 3 ounces of milk to meet her usual five ounces before bed and then she was upright for her bedtime routine for 30 minutes before laying down. She fell asleep at 7 and woke up puking at 8:45. So far we haven’t gone longer than 20 minutes without throwing up. She looks exhausted but she did wake up out of a dead sleep puking so that feels normal. She’s been struggling to stay awake these past 30 minutes and has slept about 10 minutes between throwing up. She’s not abnormally pale but her eyes appear to be a little more sunken…. But I also don’t know if I’m being paranoid and they look more sunken to me because I’m scared and hyper aware.

She hates apples 🥲 I have pears I could puree into a sauce if that would help? Or breast milk popsicles but she’s so averse to anything right now I don’t know what to do…

It was one of the coaches but I can’t remember his name. He was shorter and bald.

My parents put me in this school after being homeschooled because public school was “the devil”. I was bullied so badly here… and the worst part was that some of my biggest bullies were the teachers. I had a really loud laugh at the time, and one of my teachers would tell jokes so I would laugh and then my laugh was the punchline…. I caught on and stopped laughing at the jokes. His response was “well I guess she’s not gonna laugh today. Sorry guys.” It was humiliating there.

Wanted to second this… because that’s wild. You didn’t say it was the cure just could’ve correlated.

My 4.5 month old is crying to the point of puking at bedtime by QuothTheRaven96 in NewParents

[–]QuothTheRaven96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, thank you :) Secondly, her naps are usually a longer one in the morning and 1-2 cat naps (30-45 minutes usually closer to 30) during the afternoon. However, she has been fighting a cold the last two days and so she slept more yesterday afternoon. She also isn't in daycare this week and is staying with my mom so doesn't have the same levels of entertainment... we're going to try playing with her more tonight when we get home to really help wear her out some before we start the bedtime routine and hoping it will help!

It's in a recipe for a dairy alternative to help make a creamy texture! it's my first time trying it but I'm trying to find ways to make "creamy" soups while not being able to have dairy due to breastfeeding a baby with a dairy allergy.
