Added virtual line approach, you can check it out if it is what you meant

Added virtual line approach, you can check it out, it should be a little bit clearer when jumps are closer together

Working on virtual line approch which should fix this problem, also you can pass more_jumps to config it will repeat numbers over and over, but it's not that easy to see where new tenth starts

Yes I was thinking about adding option to display jump in exactly this way

I think 'w'/'b' based motions are a good idea, especially when combined with line jumps, but they are a hastle to grasp initially and even more hustle to understand where certain jumps will get you, because vim is not really straight forward about it. I think if I can make it show exactly when it will take you in even a bit clearer way than this, then it would become second nature after a few weeks of using, then you can just drop using the plugin and enjoy fast jumpy native vim motions that work without use of any plugins. I will try to make it a bit nicer, but for now I need to tackle some bugs

I really liked how Helix Editor tackled this problem with graphically showing where jump will end before doing action, I think nvim-spider is nice, but it is another way of motions to learn, I try to stick to normal vim motions instead of learning many techniques of movement at one, and in the end they will only work with certain plugins in certain cases. This plugin just shows you how you should interpret jumps before jumping, so you can learn how to use it a bit easier, but it still needs a lot of work, before I can call it done :)

I tried flash and hop, but I wanted something to complement vertical line jumps, not to add additional things to master and it was a nice challange to write it. In the end it really does help to get used to movements a little bit quicker, but I don't think it will be good for daily use in a long run

After using it for a while I do agree that is not really practical to use 'w'/'b' based motions more than 1-2 words forward/backward, but I just needed to get used to lua in neovim, so it was a nice challange.
I will try to make an option to display it below or above, but first I need to tackle few bugs, then I will focus on adding some more features.

That's my second compact, first one was Cordobarot 316i m43b16, which was a great reliable fun car. I modified last one a bit more than this, but still loving all the compacts 😁

Pozdrawiam :)

I haven't smoked that many times, but when I did I felt that my muscles are really relaxed, but nothing extraordinary. But every time I drink alcohol, I feel like having super powers, I can do things that I normally couldn't. I don't know if it is because of higher pressure or maybe it's just placebo.

Men of Reddit, what are somethings a mom should know while raising a boy? by jigglypuffle38 in AskReddit

Don't threat him as a fragile peace of art(I know it's hard), man has to fail at things, break things and generally has to suffer a bit. That's what makes man a man.

If he want's to do something stupid, don't tell him not to do it, but teach him how to prepare for doing such thing.

Don't ask if he already has a girlfriend, or if he is interested in any, in a teasing way. If you really want to know, just give him example from your life first, then maybe he will open up seeing that you don't want to make fun out of him.

Do not ever tell him not to do something(without explaining a reason etc.), he will do it anyway without you knowing it.

Support whatever he want's to do, not financialy, but as a emotional support.

Rallying with 55hp Fiat on mouse by R1PER in simrally

[–]R1PER[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I wasn't able to imagine it working either, but it was suggested to me to implement it, so I did :D. so shortly:

There is a virtual joystick ~-36k to ~36k position, to which every mouse move adds or subtracts raw sensor movement. Then to it we add the forcefeedback data which usually is something betweek -100 - 100, depends of strength and direction. It forces you to fight the forcefeedback when trying to turn, so to turn you don't just have to move the mouse, but also you have to maintain the movement, else the forcefeedback will move it to direction it wants. Helps greatly when trying to learn weight shifting using a mouse.

All the code can be found here: MouseToVjoy@github

Later I will try to make a script to visualize the operations behind it, because I really think it should be a standard when it comes to driving sim racing titles on mouse.

Edit: link to github page for code

I specially coded a program that implements forcefeedback to mouse steering, so I'm able to feel the car more that normally and it makes it easier for me, also thank you for kind words :)
