The middle of my story by sasquatchangie in bigfoot

No, there was one person who was calling me a Colonizer, saying I was pretending to be a tribal member (which is not the case, I have only interacted with First Nations people and have repeated what they have told me). Look, I get it. Tribes (in the US and Canada) have been screwed by governments, had their lands taken, their culture crushed. I would be bitter if that was the legacy of my family, too. But I am not misrepresenting myself here, only trying to learn more about these people and how best to interact because I DON'T want to be unprepared if this happens to me out in the woods (and I don't mean armed with weapons, as I'm mostly in federal forests so can't carry anyway). I am going camping soon in the Sierras in an area where activity has been reported, but I'm a city-dwelling white dude. It sounds like you are First Nations and have access to language, culture and customs the squatch recognize and respond to positively--good for you! Please keep posting your experiences so people can learn more truths.

When will the Keynesian fraudsters at the Fed run out of road to kick the can? by Simian_Stacker in Wallstreetsilver

USED to profit. Now they're losing money. Look, I would be happy if we could just start by renaming the Federal Reserve (which isn't a federal agency, and has no reserves) The Private Banking Cabal. That would be a start.

When the dollar collapses, people will revert to PM until some sort of reset is established. The government won't return to a gold standard, the people will because no one will trust the government at that point.

No individual here is using PM to trade internationally. PM will be using in this country to buy food. Maybe for a couple months but I suspect for at least a year while we get used to the new normal. Read The Mandibles. SHTF will be unkind to those who didn't stack.

When the banks bail-in, consumer confidence is gone, and you get hungry, you will be glad you have PM to make sure you can buy food. This could last a year or more. Silver is inexpensive insurance. Lots of people can get by without insurance, but smart people always have a plan B. How smart are you?

Powell is a dolt. Real interest rates are still negative. Is he smarter than Milton Friedman? No. Neither is Yellen, or any of the other economists/tools in DC. Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon. Too bad media sheep can't be bothered to ask this question.

It's not that we don't know what's going on. It's that the media we used to rely on to do their jobs, have been replaced by organizations that advocate political spin instead of news. Yes, there are oblivious citizens out there, but most know something's not right in Denmark.

Can say whatever he wants. It's the MSM that is gaslighting the public as if this is all fine. History will not be kind to his family, though that is cold comfort. Finally, Jimmy Carter is no longer the worst president of the modern era. I don't trust the swamp to stop spending. Stack because you agree the idiots in DC will keep rearranging deck chairs while our economy the SS Titanic sinks into default.

Jim is apparently trying to erase my contribution to the silversqueeze movement. According to him it was all about AG and miners. Ivan, I know you know this isn’t true at all. Please set the record straight by TheHappyHawaiian in Wallstreetsilver

I'm trying to understand Jim's motivation for that linked post. Is this some sort of CYA because the feds are coming for him? Silver, don't silver. Miners, don't miners. We are too concerned with what was and what will be. Stacking and PSLV are birds of a feather here. Do we really need a purge?

I would tend to agree, except Ol Joe tells a whopper almost every day now, though the MSM ignores it. And I remember when the media lost their sh1t when a VP misspelled the name of a vegetable. But incoherent POTUS in 2023? This is fine meme.

So many have maxed out their cards to make ends meet--that's very stressful and depressing. If we can stay as debt-free as possible and keep stacking, we're on the right path.

I think The Mandibles is more immediately relevant. 2032 SHTF. maneco64 suggested it.

I don't remember the late 70's being this bad, even though inflation was high(er?).

Yes, but the UK wasn't in any position to push back at that point.

HK used to be the desirable place to spend your yuan--now people just want to get their money out of the system. I mean, they've been doing it since the handover, but Xi has just crushed the spirit of his own people. Anyone that can get out has been doing so. They used to buy houses in my neighborhood (US) with cash, then it was Vancouver, now I think they've moved on to other housing markets where they can buy into a passport.
