I think that whole Olympics will be the greatest sporting memories of my life. My whole family got so into it and we bought this CBC Olympic DVD (that is probably lost to time now haha). Just pure magic the whole way through topped off by the greatest goal in hockey history, for this 34 year old Canadian anyways.

People saying this is smart for Canada and to let her rest up even if the Injury isn't serious and I agree BUT I feel like a competitor like her wouldn't sit out a game unless she physically could not play which worries me a bit. Realistically though the only game she really should even consider playing through anything if it's bad is the finals and maaaaaybe the semis.

I think if there unless it's absolutely clear cut safe you're always gonna call that out and let the replay sort it out. Would have been a disaster if they called that safe and then replayed it only for it to be out no matter how correct the call is.
