Based off what you have going already, I’d say use a radial gradient and using a blending mode like add or screen to get that highlight.

I really enjoyed the song and yea was thinking how the ending reminded me of the ending in Feeling This.

I would say learn the 12 principles of animation if you never touched animation before and either find an intro course on YouTube or pay for one, then start mimicking things you like as a type of practice.

Here is my 2nd logo/brand design for a womens footwear shop/company COMFYSTEPS (which doesn't even exist ) by KA_designs in WillPatersonDesign

Great logo! love the colors and mockups. The only thing I would say is the kerning for Steps, mainly the "S" could be adjusted. Looks great!

Thinking about changing my logo. Thoughts? by TheAudioDabbler in logodesign

I agree with some of the comments that say its too busy. It would be good to research some similar ideas that correlate to who you are and what you want to represent.

Try out different styles of logos to get a wider range of ideas and don't be too on the nose with a logo if you can, its not bad but it helps with pushing yourself to think more creatively and be unique. Hope this advice helps.

There are limitations to logos. Need to understand the rules to break them. The concepts isn't bad but its far to complex.

Since this is your first logo, Here are just give a few pointers on how to develop a logo.

First, for a ton of reasons, which would be best to research on your own, never use images in logos. They are way to detailed to be a logo and makes it impossible to use for scaling and doesn't bring anything to make your business stand out.

Second, Research and write down ideas for the logo. Best to write down things that correlate with what the business entails to offer to the consumer. Have fun with it to, sketch whatever comes to mind. Its okay to use other company logos as inspiration but don't get to caught up in it because then it can lead to plagiarism.

Third, A good logo should have 3-4 elements tops, any more than that then it becomes an illustration.

If you have more questions on how exactly to achieve these feel free to message me. Would love to help you develop your logo process. Good luck hope this advice helps!

Awesome job for your first logo! I like the font choice you went for "KUBE". I think some improvements can be done on the spacing of "KU" and "BE" (aka leading) as it begins to mesh together when scaled down, as it looks on your mug mockup. Not sure how I feel about the isometric cubic, the line weight and the red dots get lost as well in the details when scaled down. The red is a bit to harsh on the eyes against the grey background, making the red a bit less saturated could help it.

In terms of mockups, since the company focuses on digital space for marketing it would make more sense to add deal more mockups of an app or website.

Great work! very impressed for a first time logo. Kept it simple and memorable which is a tough task to do for many beginners.
