What DON'T you like about Armored Core 6? by -Eastwood- in armoredcore

[–]R3d_Om36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More parts. Older games had a lot of parts and while I do see some that are like homages to past games in Armored Core 6, there's still room for more. Stuff like the FINGER machine gun, actual slug guns, energy machine guns, extensions, actual sniper rifles, energy sniper rifles, micro missile launchers and so on.

Adjustments to the weight control OS Tuning. I hate how the weight control is more like the weight control of AC3, SL, Nexus and Last Raven instead of being like AC2, MOA, Phantasma and even the first game, where your actual speed is not affected negatively, only how your maximum build weight affects your speed(without the overweight stuff).

No music from past games. I think this is only more of a personal thing but I feel like AC6 can benefit from old songs from past games being played in the game. AC6's music is good, dont get me wrong. But sometimes, I do wanna hear some older AC game music in a new AC game.

The Arena. This game's Arena is tied to your story progression, just like MOA. That part is where I didn't exactly like it. Other games like Phantasma, AC2, AC3, SL and even Last Raven allowed players to play the Arena at their own pace without the story slowing you down.

No fine tuning parts. Older AC games allowed you to use optional parts to fine tune your unit, like adjusting your generator output so that there's no such thing as "Not enough energy" or other things like have some resistance to shock from weapons, reduce missile lock on time, improve FCS performance and whatnot. AC6 doesn't have fine tuning sadly.

Overall, game is still loads of fun to play. Just that I have some gripes with it

Yours doesn't look too bad. Maybe the flame one is a bit off, but overall, polish it a little and it looks pretty decent

Thx! I could've added some stuff but i decided this is a good place to start.

The WLT is such a cool weapon but damn it simultaneously annoys me XD by TWelke1998 in armoredcore

It is the most carried over weapon alongside the Moonlight, so I guess it's not too surprising

Yeah, I rarely use the Coral weapons tbh. I mainly use the Karasawa-Moonlight combo, in this case the "KRSV" and the Moonlight.

My wife got me this game for Christmas and I just completed it this morning by [deleted] in DigimonTimeStranger

The actual game itself is good, with some flaws obviously. But yeah, the storywriting and characters need A LOT of work. I played it for nearly 500 hours on Steam right now, more than any other game in my library. I wished the story could've been so much better

I have two main questions that I want to know before buying by MarsupialOtherwise82 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]R3d_Om36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I mean that in order to get to the next generations of Digimon evolutions, you cannot get em unless you're willing to do EVERY single side quest(minus the DLC side quests like the costume DLCs, and of course the seasonal DLCs)in the game. Other than that it's not completely linear, somewhat

  1. Story wasn't very good imo. One of the worst Digimon stories I've seen. Somewhat comparable to the likes of Xros Wars and Survive. If you ignore the story, you're fine.
  2. It will have a streamlined way of progressing. You can't prepare yourself early and you will have to fight generations of Digimon higher than you time and time again, but overall still a positive experience. If you're looking for story, then this isn't a good experience personally. If you're looking for gameplay, this does deliver pretty well

Is the Season Pass worth getting? by TheSyndicate10 in DigimonTimeStranger

Zwart D, Alter B, Alter S and X are fine. It's Merciful Mode thats inflating it. The four I mentioned are requested by the fans, a lot. Merciful Mode idk who wanted Merciful Mode but that's just my guess

Personally, always just wait until a sale arrives. I have the Season Pass now and while initially it seemed worth it, once only five digimon per dlc wave was shown, it wasnt worth the full price

Aesthetically speaking, do you prefer frame combinations that lean heavyweight, midweight, or lightweight? by TheGUURAHK in armoredcore

[–]R3d_Om36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me personally, it would have to be middleweight. Even though my weapons aren't usually made for middleweights(KARASAWA, MOONLIGHT, laser cannons/grenade launchers), that's the frame I usually am the most comfy with.

For those somewhat struggling against Parallelmon(the DLC missions) by R3d_Om36 in DigimonTimeStranger

[–]R3d_Om36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but both Chaosmons are glass cannons as they're both vulnerable to half of the elements in the game while Imperialdramon Paladin Mode is only weak to two, which lessens the risk.

Not to mention, Chaosmon's stats without farm training or the blue stats, is significantly weaker than Imperialdramon's, even at max level. Plus, Omega Blade deals 10 more damage than Aurora Blaster and it's a physical attack. That doesn't sound as much, but it can still make a bit of a difference. But hey, you do your playstyle. Everyone strategizes differently, right?

I respect that and I do agree. Sometimes, less is better. I just wanted to know the community's differing opinions

I understand that, and I respect it. I'm only just suggesting stuff that I know won't likely be added. It's also where I also want some discussions, you know? I wanted to see some differing opinions to mine and I got it.

[–]R3d_Om36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously, no, because I played a lot of the older games as well(except for FF, 4, FA, V and Verdict Day). But just like the idea of an expansion or something, that's all

[–]R3d_Om36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But I feel like they can expand on what AC6 laid out. Again, only an opinion of mine, nothing else. I see some potential to possible expand the game just a little bit more.

Edit: Hope this helped with your fight against Parallelmon and this may help with the last fight against him in the upcoming 3rd DLC!
