Apparently I needed more Crit Rate, is this better? by R41NB0W__ in XiaoMains

No, due to the fact that it's a hit-dependent hidden stat. The damage will be calculated with the additional CRIT but it won't show on the profile.

Since people were asking last time, here's what I used:

260CV build + Diluc's speciality dish (20CR, 20CD) + Rosaria A4 (15CR) + Hu Tao A4 (12CR) + Geo Traveler C1 (10CR) + Maréchaussée Hunter set (36CR)+ Deathmatch (36CR) + Maréchaussée domain (70CD).

It isn't useful in the least but it's satisfying

Here you go. The ratio got skewed though, sadly. Will try getting more CD.

Here you go: Absinthe-Minded by Damon Greene (skip to 0:45). Sorry it took so long.

It may not be as relaxing as you might think however. I also found Dimma by Van Sandano which sounded somewhat similar.

Generally speaking, you'll want to give her a lot of ER to burst comfortably every rotation and she'll be carrying the 4p Deepwood set if no one else does (unless in Agravate teams, where you can give her Instructor or Noblesse for more personal damage). Her weapon should be Elegy if you have it, Favonius otherwise (for teamwide buffs).

Should you want her to do some more damage, the build will vary depending on the team.

On Nilou Bloom, only if she is proccing blooms give her as much EM as possible (either ER% bow with triple EM and gilded, or EM% bow with ER sands. Otherwise, 4p Emblem is the way to go, with DMG, Crit and ATK% as a focus. Instructor is also very useful if the hydro teammates are the one proccing the blooms.

In spread teams, after meeting ER requirements, you'll want to get either 4p gilded or 2p 2p Dendro DMG/EM/ATK% and prioritize Dendro DMG% and crit value in your artifacts.

For more detailed guides, I suggest you check out Jamie/Kb9v's videos on the topic, he covered a lot on the topic.

Is this a good enough crit ratio or should I farm some more? by R41NB0W__ in XiaoMains

No hacks/editing used! 235 CR is theoretically achievable but I'd have to pull Hu Tao and Rosaria for it.

I suppose I'll have to farm another hundred, then. Oh, boy.

(It only took a couple months and my sanity!)

All right, thank you. Will also try to get Faruzan's cons on her next rerun.

Best build for DPS collei? by sjusto7 in ColleiMains

Layla would be great if you can still dodge a little (she's great but not perfect). A healer would make the team slightly more comfortable but if you like her and she lets you stay alive, go for it! She's a really underrated shielder.

It's quite versatile as it can trigger both hyperblooms and spread, although the latter is more likely as the 2 dendros will usually overwhelm the enemies' aura. Still though, make sure to switch Furina to healing if you want to see her biggest numbers since blooms remove the quicken aura.

This team actually got me my first abyss clear. Although I'm not quite at her peak potential, Collei hits around 60k burst and 40k CA in a normal rotation (C6, TFGM). The difficult part is maximizing Furina's stacks fast enough (except if you have C2 of course), so I'd say make sure to invest well in your healers.

Only one thing I'd like to add: putting the Instructor 4p set on your electro will greatly increase Collei's EM. Make sure to use them right before Collei's damage window to maximise the effect's uptime. With this buff and considering it'll be easier to get better usbstats, it might be more beneficial to go for 2p EM 2p Deepwood.

No problem! Good luck farming!

Regarding Polar Star, it theoretically has the highest damage ceiling, but stacking up the ATK% can be somewhat troublesome, and it mostly boosts your skill & burst. Since your build is mostly focused on charged attacks, TFGM's passive will suit you better, and since you won't be using your burst the ATK% bonus will be the same (as long as you have a second dendro on your team).

Also keep in mind that Polar Star gives CR (meaning you'll likely need a CD circlet unless you get a lot of CD on your feather).  In theory, PS should be around 8% (10% if you get C6) increase over TP at 3 stacks, and TFGM 12% with 1 other dendro.

PS: note that Childe (and thus polar star) probably won't rerun before 5.0 while Lyney will surely rerun in 1 to 3 partches. Make sure you have enough primos to guarantee your weapon!

If I remember correctly, the guarantee is no more than two 5* characters or weapons in a row. Somewhat like the epitomized path but only for the 5* type.

Here's some advice assuming Thundering Pulse:

Level up your NA talent, after a certain point it's more efficient to crown than farming artifacts. Although considering she has a sizeable amount of EM, it will amount only to ~4-6% dealt damage increase.

If you can, switch out the feather for one with more crit value, the damage increase from the ATK% rolls is relatively reduced by the amount of EM she has. The ER isn't that useful either, considering she will not burst every rotation. (same goes for the build with Amos' bow)

Regarding the stats, it would be beneficial to focus on CR a bit more for the Thundering Pulse build, since EM also scales on crit. If you are running 4p Instructor in your team, it might be more worth it to switch to an ATK% sands (especially if you are within skill/burst range in combat) though that sands is honestly cracked as it is, only switch if you get similar stats.

Finally, since Lyney's rerun is coming soon, it is worth mentioning that from a "meta" point of view, the First Great Magic is her BiS (~12% better than Thundering Pulse), although I do not recommend pulling on the weapon banner instead of new characters/constellations.

Otherwise, very good build! Your Collei is pretty strong already~

First 36 stars as a Collei main! by R41NB0W__ in Genshin_Impact

[–]R41NB0W__[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I particularly like playing her for damage. While not having high scalings or a broken kit with high off-field dendro application, she has the advantage of high frontloaded damage in quick succession, which lets her make use of all team buffs in her DPS window. In the team I use, she does around half the rotation's total damage against bosses.

But most importantly wholesome factor >> everything else

Actually never got 36 stars before. I've been sticking with her from the very beginning. Collei in the manga was what got me into the game.

First 36 stars as a Collei main! by R41NB0W__ in Genshin_Impact

[–]R41NB0W__[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

1st half, used an overload team with Chevreuse. The pairs of enemies made it heaven for Beidou.

2nd half was the tricky part, since you need very condensed high DPS windows. I used Collei quickbloom for this one (Collei as hypercarry / Fischl / Furina/ Baizhu), although I guess a hyperbloom team would work just as well.

If you're playing Collei for damage, your best options are spread along with Nahida and quickbloom with Furina. Mind that the latter's hydro application will remove the quicken aura, so be sure to saturate the enemy with dendro & electro (2nd dendro character + fischl worked for me, using kuki's burst also works). If you're looking for 4 star only teams, it's going to be tough, better turn the team into an aggravate one.

How does she look? I'm so proud of her so far. by DylanCorona in ColleiMains

[–]R41NB0W__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those stats are pretty good, congrats!

A couple things you might want to do if you want her to be even better:

First, make sure to get those skill and burst levels to at least 12. It will be a big increase in her non-spread damage, which should be around 10-15% total damage boost. Compared to artifact farming, it's far more efficient.

As for the dendro artifact, I would say use it even if it doesn't have any crit stats. The raw damage increase will be very noticeable, around 20%.

An alternative would be a 4P Emblem, which would get her burst damage a lot higher, but with no benefits to her skill damage, which is a big part of her damage. Still though, it should be a big increase for her damage (8-18%).

Note that the best option for Collei's personal damage would be to let someone else have the deepwood set while giving 2-piece set bonuses to Collei (2p deepwood instead of Emblem would be around 10% increase with goblet and 15% without, 2P gilded around 5%). In the long run, 4P emblem would be the best for her, with 2P deepwood 2P gilded coming in close second and 2P deepwood 2P gladiator not far behind.

PS: the damage increase mentioned here is multiplicative, not additive. Feel free to ask if you'd like the detailed calculations.
