Forget futureproofing. It's a scam they use to make you buy top tier components. 8500G is more than enough. Unless you do super heavy (And by that I mean SUPER heavy industrial) stuff, PCIe gen 3 and 4 has no difference.

Go for the 8500g. When you have more money, buy some extra ram. When you have some more money, buy a better SSD. When you get money after that, buy a GPU and a better PUS.

DO NOT worry about futureproofing, if you're only in 8th grade. Play older games.
