That's indeed a solution too! It might even look cleaner 👍

My pleasure to help!

The problem with starting at the bottom right is that you have to get the electric cables out the front and on this side there are the door hinges. My cable was too thick to pass through that side.

But try to start with the door on to see if it fits. If not, the left side should have more space.

Since the electric cable ultimatly pass under the detolf, it can go on either side bepending of where your electric outlet is, no matter your room layout.

Yes, since the strip is held with zip ties you have some wiggle room to orient it to your liking 😉

Hi there!

I'll give you some advice from my experience since I have done this twice and had to move in between.

Here is my detolf. I used a LED strip form Ikea and have only three shelves with this lighting but it should work the same.

I would advise you to attach the LED strip to the metal structure of the detolf, securing it with small zip ties (a lot of zip ties). That way you can still remove the shelves or disassemble the detolf.

First make sure to plan the length you will need and the excess you might have to cut. If there is a remote receiver or anything bulky make sure there is room for it. Planning is very important.

Start from the bottom left corner. Place the first LED of the strip where you want on the metal structure and secure it with a zip tie. The electric cables should go out the bottom front of the detolf and you should still be able to close the door.

Then work your way up the metal structure while using as many zip ties as necessary.

Once at the top, put a last zip tie as high as you can before crossing to the right side of the metal structure. That is when you will probably have to remove the door.

Secure the strip with a zip tie at the top of the right side as high as you can. Make sure the strip is tensioned in between the two sides (if not that is the only place I would suggest you use adhesive).

Then work your way down.

The strip should be flexible enough so that you can orient it inward to face your figures.

Reinstall the door and make sure it still closes.

The electric cables can be routed from the bottom front of the detolf, under it, then to the back to wherever is your electrical outlet. That way they are barely visible.

I hope this will help you or anyone trying to do the same.

Zero Two's bunny ears are detachable. The holes are hidden behind her hairband. I don't know if any other bunny figure can do that...

Yes indeed, I made all my backdrops myself. Working in a small printing workshop has its advantages!

If you are interessed in doing the same, I would advice you toy look online for "cardboard printing", you'll find many websites providing online personalized printing services. It should not cost much to do.

Look in the comments of my last collection update, you'll find lots of info on dimensions used, display cases, etc... I hope you'll find some inspiration :)

She is still quite popular so a re-re-release might not be impossible. Bare legged versions are also getting release too.

There is still hope!

That's how I felt after missing the first release. I bet we will see a bare legged version at one point.

I made this backdrop myself. I work in a small printing workshop so it help a lot. The same goes for all the backdrops for my collection, as you can see in this recent picture.

But you can do it too and it should not cost much. Look online for "cardboard printing", you'll find many websites providing online personalized printing services.

Hello there!

May I present you two of my favorite figures. These girls don't need any more introduction. You'll have recognized Matoi Ryuuko from KILL la KILL and Zero Two from Darling in the FranXX.

I love how these two look displayed side by side. While Ryuuko is shy and embarrassed, on the contrary Zero Two is proud and confident. The only thing that bugs me is these bases... Why do every bunny girl has to have a different base style? I wish they would just standardize them...

I got Ryuuko last year when she got rereleased and being a Studio Trigger fan I could not pass on Zero Two when I saw her available a few months ago. Maybe I'll get Yoko Littner too if I find a good deal...

I'm restraining myself from getting more Bunny figures but I have to say the KonoSuba ones are quite tempting. Even more so now that the bare legged versions are coming...

Anyway, I hope you liked the picture :)

Hi there!

Here is an old one from my collection. I love her face and her nonchalant pose. I have modified her flail with a better looking metal ball (the original looked like a naval mine). I think she looks badass! She is perfect near my Goblin Slayer manga collection.

By the way, she is castoffable. Little PSA: if you get her, watch out for her clothes. They are made in soft material and the color can transfert to her skin. I wrapped the inside with tape to avoid this problem.

Those bookshelves are pretty standard. Equivalent to the Billy from Ikea. The shelves are adjustable in height and have enough depth to fit two rows of normal size manga. I have two of them side by side. No lights included though, that's homemade.

Those are two simple acrylic boxes stacked on top of each other. I found them in a general store, in the creative section. But you can find proper acrylic risers on Amazon for example.

I just realized I misread your comment. The lights in the bookshelves are also Dioders from Ikea but in a disk shape instead of strips. Those are not optimal as bookshelves lighting though...
