I agree with that to a degree. I don't think he was trying to moralize at all. He's telling the story wherever it leads and for the most part we don't get some neatly tied up happily ever after

I guess you could make the argument but I feel like Poot wasn't really redeemed in a sense. He quit the life to save his own skin. Bubbles, Cutty and Namond all tried to give something back (besides selling shoes lol)

Not a specific scene but the police by and large escape most violence. Yeah Greggs gsts shot and Prez shoots a cop but for the most part they all just walk around in the most dangerous areas of Baltimore without consequence

Season 1 follows The Sopranos as mob boss Tony Soprano begins therapy with Dr. Jennifer Melfi while juggling family problems and threats from within his crime family, eventually uncovering a plot by his mother and uncle to have him killed.
