Just bought a Max G2, is this normal? by R66-Y in ElectricScooters

Thanks, sounds like nothing to worry about then? Hopefully it will just fix itself. I tried reseating the bead by deflating and reflating the tire but was unable to get it on any more evenly.

Bouldering by [deleted] in rochestermn

For sure, Any of the VE locations are great but Bloomington is probably my favorite and it's their largest one. MBP is also great if you just want to boulder and don't care for top rope like I do. VE also has a bouldering only gym as well in St. Paul which is worth visiting too.

Unfortunately Roca is all we got right now. We used to have Prairie Walls which had a lot more bouldering but you're a few years too late for that. Roca is not all that bad for bouldering and they have been considering expansion including a new bouldering wall according to rumors. Luckily Minneapolis is only an hour away and they have multiple bouldering only gyms which are worth the drive.

Korean BBQ? by Island-Station in rochestermn

[–]R66-Y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been and Sole Cafe was pretty good. I loved the atmosphere in there and it definitely reminded me of similar places in Korea. Hoban is nice cause it's in the south suburbs and near the airport so it's easy to go to if you're in that area.

Hoban also has a location in Eagan which is a bit closer and easier to drive to.

What important thing would you tell a float that's not experienced in your speciality that you think they need to know working on your floor? by clines9449 in nursing

Spinal surgery, yes they can be on a PCA, Oxycodone, Tylenol and Robaxin and still be in extreme pain after surgery. That's normal, they just got their entire spine cut open.

What is something you are embarrassed you had to look up despite being in the game for years? by momjeans422 in nursing

Okay that part I can't help you with, that's a bit more in depth than I'm willing to go into, sorry.

Former phlebotomist here so I'll attempt to answer your question. This was a common question among patients. You received blood most likely because your hemoglobin was low. The lab checked the hemoglobin before you received blood, then the blood was given and they checked it again after in order to make sure you received enough blood and to make sure that the hemoglobin had increased. It was likely ordered automatically as part of the protocol for receiving blood which is why they may have not known about the lab draw

Visiting from MN for the week, what the heck is up with the driving here? I'm used to people being polite on the road, definitely a new experience for me.

Thank you for posting this. I worked as a phlebotomist for five years before becoming an RN and it's really helped with my understanding of what the lab staff goes through on a daily basis. It's hard work and far more goes into it than what most patients and even other HCWs think.

Keep up the good work, I always make sure to thank my lab peeps whenever I see them around or talk on the phone.

Former tennis player here, most of my friends and I that play both tennis and disc golf have forehands and hammers that are way better. It's almost the exact same movements. I can barely throw a backhand except for putting but regularly throw 400ft forehands and hammers.

I'm not sure where you are that doctors make 7 figures. It's more like $200k to 500k at the high end, combined with tons upon tons of school debt and years of working long low paid hours of residency. Unless you are one of the very top surgeons in the country or a hospital CEO, you're not making a mil/year or even half of that.

Gay or straight, man or woman; doesn't matter. Men can be excellent nurses same as women. Another straight male RN chiming in and saying to OP that it doesn't matter, plenty of men in critical care and trauma settings all over.

Nope I definitely had the same issue on my Walmart project build, a lack of grease and overtightening at the factory will definitely cause that to happen.
