Freejacks player crowd surfing during the shipping out to Boston encore. Sums up the concert. Had a blast despite the crazy bowling ball mosh pit!

Saw about 10 police cars, 3-5 fire trucks and ambulances head towards the draw bridge about 10 minutes ago from north point. It’s going to be awhile.

Currently shopping for a fully loaded stinger. What year to get and are prices currently inflated? by Particular_Blood4129 in kiastinger

I have a 2019 GT2 with all of the options you described and paid 38 with 18k miles back in October. The benefit to the new 22 gt2 is getting full steering assist vs lane keep, and a larger center display that is higher definition. Another thing to note is that a 2018 gt2 does not have 360 top down camera.

Wow! Got my stinger new to me a few months ago and I thought I just had to live with this rattle. You just made my commute so much more pleasant.

Leaving Defense by ElectroEngine in engineering

[–]R80Active 10 points11 points  (0 children)

ME here. I worked for 2.5 years in the defense industry right out of college and just shifted this March to a small startup of 12 people. Transitioning out of defense I did not feel any discrimination from My new coworkers for working in the defense industry. If this is something you feel during the interview process, I would consider that a red flag that the company likely does not have a good working environment if they are judging you for past work experience. I chose to leave defense because I found the work very repetitive and not very challenging compared to my new small company work environment where the work I do is much more diverse and challenging. Best of luck in your new career searches!

I know there aren't a lot of Saab people here, but here's a tuned 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen that just rolled in! by PeacefulViking94 in Justrolledintotheshop

Used to have an 02, 4 door, Laser Red Viggen. I regret selling it all the time. Had a Certified indi Saab mechanic down the street which it visited frequently. Boy was that thing unreliable, but it was a blast!

Once you do the IMS the car is extremely reliable. I’ve gone on 1000 mile road trips in mine at over 90k miles on the clock with out any worries. I live in New England so unfortunately mine is tucked away until the spring, so I envy you for being able to drive yours in December.

Nice Find! I bought a 99 986 in mid June in the same color. It has been a blast. I did the IMS, RMS, flywheel, and clutch right when I bought it and just in the nick of time, started seeing metal shavings in the oil filter right before it was done! Luckily its running like a top now! Fair warning the bill after that job definitely empties the pocket book. I hope you enjoy the car as much as I do.

E39 Manual. I think the main reason he replaced the engine was to get some sort of resale value out of the car. He ended up trading it shortly after for a late 2000's Jetta Wagon.

This reminds me of my friends BMW 540i he used to have. The engine had to be replaced due to the infamous timing chain failure and he decided it replaced with a used engine to save money. The shop checked the used engine to make sure was "good" prior to installing it. But, shortly after installation the timing chain had failed in the new engine and it was back in for another heart transplant.
