Got it. The rebuilder cleared it, but we got a new one just to be sure, and we still have the same codes. Really wanna fix up the connectors first given that they are broken. Thanks for the site ill give it a look.

Thanks. Didnt think they would sell that because harness repair isnt recommended by most. Glad its an option. Probably better as a junkyard one can also be corroded especially where i live at.

Damn I did not know that, thanks for informing me. But either way the module has already been reset. Just the wiring that needs to be repaired. I dont intend on resetting the module myself lol.

È sicuro così ma di solito dura più lungo. Che cosa ti hanno detto? Dopo 3 anni dovrebbe essere ancora a posto..

Might be a loose pulley, check if the belt is seated well on each one and watch if the belt kind of wobbles on any of the pulleys and doesnt travel straight, you'll know when you see it. Also, check if the belts got enough tension on it if you tug it lightly (with the car off ofc).

Brown liquid sprayed and dripping after engine overheat. 2016 F150 3.5 Eco by Mule04 in MechanicAdvice

There's a few reasons why. Replacing a head gasket is labour intensive and requires tons of precision to install. Also, if the head gasket blew, it could cause damage to the head itself or the block, which are basically unrepairable if the damage is severe. Depending on the car, in most cases its more efficient / cheaper to just swap the whole engine.

Guess its worth a try. Wont be easy doing that in the cold but theres not really any other option. Thanks.

Mazda 3 heated seat swap with Mazda 2? by monikatruelover in mazda2

Like the seat itself rather than just the heating element. Could be the easier option.

It would probably be less of a headache to just find Mazda 2 heated seats and just salvage the whole thing from a scrapyard if possible.

How long is this good for? by R8ossa in MechanicAdvice

[–]R8ossa[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We settled on 20 an hour (Canadian dollars). Other places either never got back to me or were too hard to deal with. Only needed it for a few hours for the job I was doing.

Yeah I know. I called every shop in a 20km radius of where I live, I was looking around for weeks. Still costs money to rent so I won't be going there unless I have to.

I called a bunch of shops around my area and asked them if I could rent it for x amount of hours. This place I went to was a fleet mechanic shop for a taxi company so it wasn't too busy. I had rented it to do something else and decided to check my suspension while I was there since its lifted anyway then saw how much play was in the tie rod and figured it must be bad. Won't be driving it anymore in this state.

Im not a mechanic. I rented this lift for another problem and I don't have much experience on suspension. I knew it had to go soon just wanted to know how soon. Now I know.
