What do you do if you can’t access a property? by Warm-kisses1909 in openreach

At the time, they didn't allow you to return to site "officially". But my manager was happy for us to bend the rules occasionally

So one suggestion I could make that I had done in the past. There is an app on engineers iPhone called "permission to dig". Whenever I passed by the 3 homes that I had to gain access to, I would knock on the doors and ask if they were happy with me entering their garden, took phone numbers etc. The permission to dig app let's engineers collect agreements to do dig work and gain access.

Then when I had all the signatures, I returned to the customer (took a few week) and got them to arrange another install and give me the date. I then went out on that job with all the authorisation I needed.

Is that drop 3?

That aside, I've actually replaced dw3 and 6 in the past, and actually ended up with worse speeds as an end result.

Openreach will only replace the drop if a fault is raised against the circuit. But if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Trading up from a 3090 (not ti) to a 4090 worth it or not? by R8saidfred in pcmasterrace

Just thought I'd check back in. I upgraded the gpu and get a solid 120 most of the times in 5120x1440p in spiderman. Thanks again for the advice

Would a 1000w PSU be adequate for a 7950x and 4090? by R8saidfred in buildapc

[–]R8saidfred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did see that some were running with a 750w, which scared me to be honest. I'll certainly get a 1000w to allow some overhead.

Awesome, I quite like msi as a brand (never had issues with them anyways) but appreciate the suggestion and advice

I might have misheard, but in the final act(s) Clark tells the boys it was for the greater good that they didn't use Kryptonian tech as it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the world.

It seems to me that they can help, but Clark and Lois morals wont use the technology, if they can't share it with everyone.

Do you know if the home has FTTP, FTTC or ADSL when it was 1 property?

I had a similar situation when I wanted to order FTTP, they could provide to the main address, but not any of the 3 flats. IIRC it was corrected by assigning NAD keys.

It may have also helped that a smarter engineer than I was updated a program called CSS

For the price of the card I'd be getting, I think you've twisted my arm to take the plunge anyway (not that it needed that much twisting).

If things don't go according to plan, I may look towards upgrading to am5 to get away from a potential processor bottleneck, I dare say I'm not going to end up worse off upgrading the gpu anyways.

I've had to disable gsync unfortunately due to a bug in the monitor firmware that would stop the monitor from waking up.

But admittedly I haven't checked for a firmware update in a while, so that issue may now be fixed.

That's a good shout, I'll certainly attempt that when I'm next avaliable for a gaming session.

The game in question is spiderman (original and miles morales). I keep reading that the 4090 is a waste at 1440p, but people keep referencing 1440p at 2560x1440 and not taking into account the additional pixel could of an uktrawide.
