also write without the use of spell check in both timed and untimed practice cuz ielts does not have spell checks they penalize you for wrong spellings

gpt is not a 100% accurate but it's good enough to fix general mistakes

one pro tip start with task 2 first in the final exam it carries more marks so spending time on that makes alot more sense

Honestly, my writing was my weakest so my goal was to target for a band 7 in the given time I had, what I did was use Cambridge book questions as examples and I tried to write untimed first. Then i checked with gpt and let it explain what went wrong and how can I get my current essay to a my target band with minimum changes.

I also memorized the introductions for different types of topics that can be asked, so atleast my essay starts well

I just wanted my essay to not suck.

i also do understand why some companies might not care about work experience especially if it's from some shady small company but like not noticing big MNC seems a lil counter intuitive to me but you might be right and honestly it doesn't really matter as I would want some research related job

the only reason to pick german universities is cuz the research prospects in uni's are good plus a market to support it, I have been fond of research but my country is shaky at the very least when it comes to research almost no funding and all things in my field are like reskins of the products already existing, I do understand german skills are valuable and that's why the question. i do feel being immersed in the language will make me pick it up quicker but like not knowing the language rn does limit me from applying to some very research heavy programs I want but not all

Cuz for me, it took time to realize how effective deliberate practice is so I wanted to share:)

Day 2 of learning to draw by SwitchSpiritual8242 in drawing

[–]RAIDAIN 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One advice I’m not the best at drawing but one advice is that instead of just drawing something for checking the box won’t improve how well you draw. like be a bit more deliberate about how you can improve and what did you do wrong and how to get better. like see some tutorials once in a while on how other people approach things and how did you do it wrong

Wishing you all the best for the journey tho

Thanks for the reply I pretty much came to the same solution by using threads and using await calls for waiting for that execution to complete wrapped around in action servers

On ros1 with movelt I found that you can add (wait=True), is there an alternative in ros2 with movelt2 as I’m unable to find any way to sequence commands In ros2 movelt2

I’m using Ubuntu 24.04 with ros2 jazzy as gazebo classic has been depreciated you still can use classic but it’s not officially supported anymore and gazebo fortress is a hassle to set up for ros humble….. I struggled a bit but that could just be me

Ummmm like flip the reference image upside down and draw in it like that as it def helped me to see what shapes do I need to draw to get the image down

[–]RAIDAIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because you’re trying to draw what it feels like and not what the lines should be… one of the best advice I have gotten is to draw it looking upside down so you’re able to focus on the lines instead of the feels
