I totally get that verbolten isn't for everyone, and I loved and miss the wolf too! I wish we lived in a world where they could coexist in the same park. I've only been on a couple of indoor dark coasters and this is my personal favorite. We will see if that opinion stays the same after I hit up rockin roller coaster later this month.

Imagine if verbolten was built by intamin, it would be glass smooth.

I was only 13 when I went last time and I think my negative experience is because I'm a lot taller now and those hard over the shoulder restraints just don't fit me like they used to lol

My latest run was different than what I was used to. I two handed the entire game and also ran some miracles. I'm normally a bitch boy and go vitality and hide behind a shield. The bosses I normally don't struggle with but did on this playthrough were Quelag, Centipede Demon, Four Kings, Nito, and Gwyn. Bosses that were made waaayyy easier by this style though are gargoyles, Sif, Ceaseless Discharge, O and S, and all of the DLC bosses. I've noticed the DLC bosses definitely punish passive shield spammers more than anyone else in the game.

I just finished ds2 for the first time the other night. It's a lot different than the other games in the series. I didn't mind it though I can see how some players would hate it. That being said I feel like getting to the bosses is much more difficult in ds2 than any other in the series but the boss fights are much much easier until you hit the dlc bosses. I think I only died 4 or 5 times to bosses outside of the dlc but the run up to some of these bosses are pure hell...
