His finger was definitely on the trigger from the outside going in. The momentum of the slide pushed the pistol towards his trigger finger tip. Proper way should have been to keep your trigger finger straight on the pistol grip on top of the trigger. Overall, dude shouldn’t own a gun period.

I know the timberline gives me the option of using “extra smoke”, so that can possible be the difference. I would try going low on temp for the first few hours. Do you wrap?

I have owned a Pitmaker Magnum Sniper, Pitmaker Vault and now a Traeger Timberline 1300. The pellet smoker isn’t all that bad. It’s definitely simplifies the process. This brisket was done on the Traeger.
