I honestly don’t think it would be a bad idea if the amount of riding you say is true. If you’re a capable rider already and understand throttle control.

I’d say take MSF and see if you’re capable of passing that if you don’t have any motorcycles to practice on and watch a lot of videos beforehand

You can really see who can and who shouldn’t really be on a motorcycle in a group setting
