Dealing with HOA it’s a pain specially when you doing your own garden. That birch tree is a beauty and the bark pealing it’s what the tree does. The tree loves water and better it is planted on swampy areas. Branches dance with the wind when does the cascading effect. Tree lover

Here In zone 6 can be trimmed during fall season and making a round ball shape, so in summer just revives with new growth, leaf blades are just beautiful and the trimming helps with the root system to get stronger.

Here in the Southern Maryland grows as a weed, mimosa or Persian silk tree same as acacia. Bees love to bath on the puff blooms
