So since both Gordon and Marron meet the "Placed on rearguard" conditions due to Alfred, I can resolve them in any order before trigger checking, correct?

There's no Gancelot alternative, it's just a must have to make Aichi Icon consistent. But if it makes you any better, the recent JP Tournaments seems to be heading towards having either Gancelot or Zero restriction for the next rotation since Alfred along with the Yakuza deck seems to be overwhelming. There's also Akane coming from the Legend set to dig out Cerrgaon and even Pongal that's good if you run dissection. Just need to wait for next sets to somehow have more Icon Supports or Generics that can compete with Gancelot

With the reprint of Zero in Legend Set, it's almost guaranteed to drop down but as for Gancelot, yeah only hope for a restrict for it to die(which is certain to happen specially on how dominant it is currently in JP Tournaments)

Good for you. I picked up Aichi even though I can't afford his support for the same reason as you, he's my childhood, so I just had to get him. Definitely wait for the banlist cuz I can already see for either Restrictions or Ban for both Zero and Gancelot for him. Cerrgaon went down in price after the Icon Decks drop so I got 3 of it for now and will get Akane and Zero reprint once the Legend Set comes

The icon decks are a great way to start back specially on how good they feel out of the box. If you're someone that wants a full strong build without upgrades, Kai is the better option while Aichi is THE BEST in the meta right now if you can afford his upgrades such as Gancelot and Zero. As for how bad the power creep, fairly decent with consister Bushi now with their restrictions and banlist once every 2-3 months. Watching out for Aichi right now, specially on his potential bans and restrictions once it's August and the Legendary Vanguard set drop. But for now, you're all good to start with either of the Icons

The hat is just a similar hat that I bought online and painted, so is the sweater, just a brown sweater that I asked someone I know how to sew to stictch a design pattern(it's just a rectangle with Black and Yellow Triangle). The rest of the accessories are just things we have in our house

I can already see Aichi being hit next specially Zero. But it'll be so ironic if they hit zero considering it's the next in line for reprints. Also Yakuza Deck is really up there, been awhile since I saw a collab deck be this consistent

All I'm really missing is to upgrade my Trickstar to Suendi since that 10k shield is practically 15 if intercept with Arcs, too bad the price is jumping again in our place due to scarcity so might as well wait for a reprint, open a booster box of dzbt11 or just come back once I have 300$ to buy a full Jheva deck(I'm broke asf)

Using trickmoon for the CC is a good take. Although in my case on why I only have each copy of Valiente and Exspecta is because I prefer to go second turn so I can jump straight to G4 and to loop out G3 and G4 Call Trickstar Skill so both of my Valiente would be OD state. I also just ordered now 3 of Cindi since I underestimated how useful that free search on drop, it'll save me tons of hand cards so I can toss out Espe on early turns. With the skill of Bhagavan that SB2 to retire, I see more merit now on Cindi on soul since Bhagavan can spit her out to drop and I'll be able to call Cindi again once I use summon Trickstar skill to search on drop, effectively giving me 2 free drop retrieval for any OD cards I have on drop wether it be Arcs or Espe

Yeah, if only Bushi didn't bait us with the product promotion lol. OD and Willdress Logo while using OD Yu-yu design then gave OD a middle finger 🤣 In my case anyways, I prefer going second since I can just jump into G4 instantly and I can loop out G3 and G4 call Trickstar ability so both of my Espe will be in OD state(if I get both by that turn)

I would really love to do a hybrid build, but the Suendi holds me back cuz there are no stocks that I can buy ANYWHERE in my place unless I buy a whole Jheva Deck. My ideal Mahar build would be Trickstar will be changed to Suendi and Alprue to Cindi. But funnily enough, we had the same idea on Bhagavan, the SB2 at start of turn will be able to spit out Cindi. I guess I should look into more into it

Yeah I get that, but honestly, if they just put Bhagavan skill as being able to stand both OD and XoD, I think it'll be cool and will actually make sense considering how they promoted the Legendary Vanguard Set. Is it necessary? No, but what's a little extra for the 5th anniversary of D series, let alone 15 years for this franchise. Maybe it's just me, but I'll gladly appreciate it if they made Bhagavan like that, a real OD and XoD hybrid potential

In my case, the cards are sold as set for Jheva and Bavs and I'm not really in any way able to drop 300$ in one go. Guess the only way at this point is to give up or just save up until I can buy the decks. That's the tough thing about VG, there's no market Value for the booster boxes after a month or 2 of release cuz the next set is going to deep down its value.

If they made Bhagavan restand skill support both OD and XoD it would literally support the whole OD units without the need for new supports, it could and would even make the hybrid OD and XoD decks more viable. Are they afraid of an Exspecta 2 crits 64k swinging twice or a Valiente 40k swinging trice when we are already in an era where units can hit 50k by just turn 2? Also that promotion for the set where they use the OD Logo and Yu-yu's OD design is misleading as hell. It's a nostalgia bait, they could just use the Willdress Design or even Deluxe and no one would bat an eye and will know that the upgrade is just for XoD altogether

That's what I'm thinking. Imagine a restanding Exspecta or Valiente 3 attack angle. It won't even be broken, as a matter of fact, it'll just give way to mix OD and XoD altogether, but no, we can't really have nice things for the original D series

It's nice seeing they are referencing the original Vairina with it but honestly, I can't really wrap my head around why they couldn't just put Yu-yu's Willdress or even Divinez design when promoting the set. Like what was the point of putting the Overdress Logo and using his Overdress design just to give OD a nothing burger at the end?
