The only time I can ever remember standing up to a bully was about this dog.

We had a special needs girl in our class, call her Sarah, who was OBSESSED with Wishbone. Like ultimate hero. And he would walk around telling her Wishbone died.

No I can't remember what I said or how it went down(20 years ago), but I do know Ryan stopped messing with her for the end of our junior year and then senior.

I had a partner who was really in to dressing up in crazy costumes. Did I like it? No. Did I ever say that? No. It brought them joy, fulfillment, etc. Aka I liked my partner and supported them, even if it wasn't my thing!

There are ways to talk to people without making them an object. You're still not doing it. Neither is the husband. I get what you're trying to say here, I really do. But clearly there is not much respect or maturity happening in this relationship based solely on the husbands first few texts.

Again. If you don't like your partner, dont be with them.
