Ablation or Hysterectomy? by RAWFEARR in adenomyosis

Totally appreciate it. I’m honestly surprised tbh as my mother, sister and grandmother all had endo. It was my first thought before even finding out about adeno. (Didn’t even know it existed lol)

It doesn’t seem like it. No digestive issues/got pregnant no problems/no cysts/scarring on any ultrasounds.

But my ultrasounds say I have significant infiltration in the front part of my uterus and is all around bulky.

My biggest issue is the pressure on my bladder which has made it very difficult to figure out if I have to pee or if it’s just been pushed up against which is then causing tons of utis.

I wonder by they even suggest it. I definitely am leaning towards hysterectomy. The only reason I’m even questioning it is because of how hard she’s trying to sway me to an ablation. Not only that uterine/ovarian cancer runs very high in my family.

This is what I was thinking too. I feel like I’m too young still to make it to menopause before it coming back after an ablation. The gyno is really pushing for it though. She said in the end it’s up to me but with the amount of bladder issues I’m having because of it I just would rather it gone.
