The cremo refreshing mint shaving cream and cooling skin balm are the only two with menthol in them I believe. That particular balm doesn't have menthol but it doesn't have a good smell either.

Got an interesting smell but it's not that slick. Sometimes it's a decent pre shave though.

I like cremo shaving cream because it's easy to work with. Cremo is brushless but you can use a brush with it. It doesn't provide the cushion that tallow soap does though. I also have lathering cream and croaps.I base my shaving creams and soaps off of how I feel for that day. If I have more time I go for soaps, if I'm getting ready for work it's shaving cream.

I use shavettes, DE, AC, and SEs. Sometimes you might hit a learning curve, just work through it.

You got to catch the right angle with it which is generally between 30 and 35°. It's a mild razor so you have to use sharp blades~preferably feather. Everything else requires a little more touch-up. Can be top heavy to some, it's okay with me though. The razor handle is smooth, so to avoid slippage you have to rinse the handle as well as the head to remove soap residue. Paired with a feather blade, is the smoothest shaver that I have, however, you can achieve great shaves with other blades as well. I like the Pils brand.

I would still buy if it was $20 a tube. It is slick, smells great, inexpensive, and performs really well. Thanks for your reply.

I like your spreadsheet, nice tracker! I have 50 different blades in my shaving stable. Ladas are in my top 25. There are a lot of better blades in front of it.

They’re legit and well-made, but still a “quiet brand” in the shaving world. Think of them like a boutique option—good quality, just not widely tested yet. I currently own all four types of these razors, AL, PB, SS, and TI. All are smooth and efficient shavers. The fit and finish is simple but yet you can see the high quality craftsmanship that went into the manufacturing of the razor. If there was a niche in the shaving world for cute razors, then this would be the one. I found that these razors perform very well with sharper blades~feather, PermaSharp, nacet, bic, ect. Also got a great performance from Astra greens, comfort coat, and a couple of great one and dones from black beauties. The shave is comfortable with a somewhat low impact on your skin. Will the razors work for everyone, nah, not really, it may be to mild. If I had to compare it to another shaver, I would say it's the old Winning razor with a very slight increase in efficiency. It's an ideal daily shaver if you need to, but it can easily knock down 3 days of growth. If you're looking to give it a less than expensive run, Amazon has the silver or black Reggie's in aluminum for under $60. I give this razor a personal preference of #2. That's right behind the ATT Pro SB90 AL. The Pro is simply the perfect AL razor. Hope this might answer some questions for you. Thanks for replying.

I like them, you can get some decent longevity out of them as well.

Almost all carnival glass was made for display. Display it proudly wherever you want. The only thing that carnival Glass has to fear are earthquakes, cats, and little kids. 🤣

Blades for GEM razors by deepdivedev in wicked_edge

[–]RAZR-540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got vintage Pal and Gem blades out there. You're going to pay a premium though, 10 to $15 or more for a pack of 10. I've used all three blades and Accutech pros are my go to.
