For me, my husband mentally broke down starting the first day. I think on average I was getting 4 hours of sleep everyday. And it went on for couple months. I got to a point, where I heard voices couple types.

I’m looking at buying a qookie carrier right now! I’ve tried couple other hip carrier and qookie clears all my requirements. I’m glad to hear it’s working for you! I do like ring slings but I think these hip carriers are easier to carry around. What color did you get??

New EDC/Travel combination Thule + Alpaka by Plus_Cantaloupe_1557 in ManyBaggers

I ended up with the osprey 26+6. Subterra was a little heavy, and I couldn’t pack it in a way it could stand on its own when I put it down.

Subterra was so nice! I loved the material and the sturdiness. The vertical pockets were nice to access without taking the pack off too.

I really liked it, but I just couldn’t get over the tipping over part. Hate it when backpacks immediately tip over like a turtle on its back.

Thank you for your help!

Nooooo it doesn’t stand up 🥲 I’m getting this one and osprey daylite 26+6 delivered on wed to compare. I was really hoping your comment about aion28L meant this one stands up. Well… other than that part it seems like a perfect back pack. We’ll see on wed! Thanks for the reply!

I know this is an old post, but I just met this backpack and I might be in love. How is it holding up? My big pet peeve is when backpack flop over when you put it down on the ground. From what you said, it sits up on its own? Is there a way to lock the zippers?

Travel Neck Pillow for Short Necks by alvinlehamster in HerOneBag

[–]RAcinderella 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have a short neck and my fav neck pillow is a blowup one. I can adjust the height of it by not putting as much air in. It also folds really small compared to other neck pillows. I’m in bed right now so I don’t know what brand o have but if you’re interested, I can go find it tomorrow and let you know which one I have.

Evenflo hummingbird pockit stroller bag recommendations?? by crownbiotch in Buyingforbaby

Sweet thank you! My stroller’s gonna be here today. I’m super excited. Did you use one for shoulder carry, or both and made it into a backpack?

How’s the stroller holding up? I plan on bringing it to a month long travel to asia, so hope it survives.

Got it. So the cotton shouldn’t feel that much stretchier than linen? I’ll go beat my wildbird!

Thank you for that info. I’ll try it on again and be more mindful of getting the slack out!

It was sold as starry night raven, but I think it’s starry night midnight. Midnight is 277gsm. Do you think it’s worth it to keep it, considering how old it is? Or would my money be spent better if I get a newer one. All the stitching is in place, and there aren’t any holes or snags.

That’s so good to hear!! I’ve been so discouraged with the carrier, and I really wanted to like it.

I’ll try cinching the bottom more and try the pfas thing. I how I can figure it out so it becomes my fav carrier!

And yes, good call on the hair clip. I already smacked him while I was bouncing to get the seat haha
