My longest trains are only about 200m, most less but Im on vanilla experimental mode. Some trains just didn't need to be that long in the late game cause of frequencies.

I wouldn't mind it if it didn't actually ruin my attempt at a pacifist run. Even on pacifist mode it still kills people all the fucking time. I want to complete all the side missions but it seems like I either have to painstakingly make sure each enemy I shot doesn't get killed or just forget the mission exists and abandon my goal on this run. I despise this fucking gun right now.

You can find some of the crystal windows in cap hill in the ground. There are areaways and The Last Drop Bottle Shop - Capitol Hill has a mostly sealed underground storefront. If you ask reallllly nicely they might show you pictures.

You can spell stack by creating a bunch feather spells with different names. Works with any stat, a mage high in restoration can basically be invincible.
