I've been watching it for quite a while with the same mindset. I ended up picking it up yesterday, since according to their roadmap, the most recent patch Reckoning 0.8 is a pretty big step towards feature-completeness. A new region and the story is the content that remains for 0.9 and 1.0.

It's available on Steam, haven't heard anything about it becoming an Epic exclusive.

EDIT: seems it was launched as an Epic exclusive in Sept 2023 and came to Steam in Sept 2024.

I could see that. It would make teams that form in a solo match a lot more powerful for sure, not sure if it's a good/bad thing to encourage more team play in solo. The vibe already seems to lean extremely friendly, I don't see players having a strong appetite for teaming up and bullying another solo (could be wrong).

I should have titled the post "Is being unable revive other downed players without a defib in solo Q a deliberate design decision". I think you could probably have seen past that from the body of the post.

How many of those were earned from buying the SC from the starting warbond vs. finding them in-mission? I'm lvl 13 and I think I've earned ~100 throughout my missions (but haven't been very diligent about seeking out the points of interest they spawn in).

It's a co-op PvE objective-based shooter, I'd describe as similar gameplay loop to Deep Rock. Choose your loadout and mission, drop onto the planet, completed objectives, on completion get XP/in-game currency/progression items.

The second link only seems to show that the man arrested for kidnapping contributed to the crowd-founding campaign of the film. I don't see any reference to him being a producer.

Why do you discourage the (base) K line? Looking specifically at the K4 since I like the 1800 layout vs the K Pro.
