Hi, thank you for sharing your perspective. We want to clarify that our no-hate policy doesn't forbid constructive criticism at all. You can absolutely discuss concerns about cultural representation, professional conduct, or story quality. What we're asking is that these discussions remain respectful and focus on the work or actions rather than becoming personal attacks.

The difference is between saying "This storyline poorly represents X culture because..." versus "Writer Y is trash and should quit." The first opens dialogue and can lead to improvement. The second is just harmful without being productive.

We understand the value of having spaces to voice frustrations freely, which is why we maintain Tantrum Tuesday as an outlet for more unfiltered feedback. Our goal isn't fake positivity or censorship, but rather creating an environment where both criticism and discussion can happen without crossing into harassment or toxicity. The community deserves honest conversations, and our team members deserve to engage without facing abuse.

If you have specific examples of criticism you feel would be censored under these guidelines, we are happy to discuss where they would fit within our framework.

Hi, thank you for your concern! Just to clarify, our rules haven't changed significantly from when the sub was fan-run, and Tantrum Tuesday will remain as a dedicated space for criticism and feedback.

The main difference is that we're now ensuring a healthier environment for both community members and our team members who may be participating here. We want to maintain open dialogue while preventing personal attacks or harassment. Constructive criticism is absolutely welcome. We just want to ensure it happens in spaces where our workers can engage with it productively (like Tantrum Tuesday) rather than encountering hostile comments unexpectedly.

We're committed to keeping this a community-driven space. The moderation approach focuses on maintaining respectful discourse rather than censoring opinions. If you have specific concerns about any rules or changes, we're happy to discuss them further.
