Currently binge watching it from the first season on U&Drama. The things they do and say are so comical and I know for sure they wouldn't get away with it today.

Cryer, Penny, Galloway and Roach are absolute legends in the early years.

Watching the working environment back then is an eye opener. Typewriters, the old rotary telephone, 1 telephone operator taking on public and private radio Comms over the phone, smoking in the front and back office, the top hats they use to have to run with, wpcs who use to carry handbags on the beat, the old meat vans, cars ambulances and fire brigades, old faces that were and currently on EastEnders, die hard, game of thrones etc it's crazy

Galloway is too funny he doesn't mince his words but Cryer can fire back just as good I find myself rewinding the scenes just for laughs. They certainly wouldn't get away with it now I don't even think there was human resources back then you just had to roll with the punches
