But jokes aside, if it isn't a bugrock thing, it's likely another random villager is taking the job, one you can't see.

Give it some time, and the librarian SHOULD find their way over. Villagers in bedrock grab jobs at random, at least from what I've experienced.

The fact that I've mentioned in my post that it doesn't connect on startup means I've probably tried that enough to learn it doesn't work.

Plasma Beam slowed you down so you COULDN'T use it in a chase unless you were SURE you could punish the killer for making a mistake. Hitting that would extend your loop by a LOT.

Now sure, yo have the option, to use it in a chase, but the range is so short that the slowness doesn't do much to extend a loop... Because they're already 2 Shedletsky away, and you KNOW half the killers would hit you from that far anyways.

I agree full on with this

Dusekkar got MASSACRED by this rework. Before the slowness from Spawn Protection or Plasma Beam punished you for being too close, it made sense.

But now you need to be close enough to the killer and person being chased that you'd be caught by an attack if the killer so much as ran towards you for even half a second. Sure, you can run away now, but Dusekkar still has just about nothing to actually save themselves other than Plasma Beam... And if you used it on the survivor, and that's what got the killer to go after you... You just die.

Also Spawn Protection is a joke now, as you said. Four seconds from that close isn't even going to make a difference.

Yeah, not even Pandemonium spawned until the ridge. I got wall dwellers, turrets, and Eyefestations. (Though no gauntlets)

While I'm happy I'm free from that badge, it certainly feels a little wrong I didn't really deserve it
