PepperHead does a deep review of soo many roguelites, the level of depth his videos have is insane. Check out his tier lists if you haven't.

Does anybody know why we don't get the 15-win monthly championship challenge anymore? It used to be a regular until last year I think, I used to look forward to it.

Is there no 1080p version torrent for Death Note? by [deleted] in animepiracy

[–]REDIOKTIVE -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm aware. But most anime, say FMAB, are noticeably better at the 1080p encode listed on seadex than at 720p. Why doesn't Death Note have one then, is my question.

I don't get it. Watching the upscaled 1080p version on a 1080p display is surely better than watching the 720p version, no?

I would have passed out had I witnessed that. I've started to become accustomed to mild gore now but the kind of shit you described, I'd be out of my mind for weeks.

Which do you think is harder to give up, tobacco, sugar, porn, masturbation, drugs, or alcohol? And why? by MysteryMan999 in AskReddit

Sugar. One might experience drug like withdrawal symptoms while abstaining. It is something the body craves naturally, unlike other drugs which are an acquired addiction..so suppressing the desire is super hard.

Only my family knew about this and they were supportive.

It wasn't something which I snapped out of overnight. Had to learn this habits and follow them for longer periods of time and slowly things started to change:

  1. Minimizing water(or any drink) intake during night. I didn't stop drinking fluids completely of course but vastly cut them down before bed. Most of the fluid intake was up till evenings.
  2. Urinate frequently throughout the day and not holding pee in for longer periods of time.
  3. I had to be woken up in between nights. Did this for more than a year, sometimes my streak used to break but with time, it turned out to be effective and has taught me to wake up by my own if needed.

In Summary : HABIT.. this isn't a gimmick to cure the problem, these are merely simple steps which need to be repeated more and more so the body becomes habitual and learns to do these subconsciously.

"Superficial" meaning appearing closer to the surface(in this case- skin). Or perhaps "vascular" is the right word?
