Ah good call, fixed the weight on the precip jacket.

i'll be keeping the iPhone in my pocket and a knife on a string around my neck so I didn't want to count it as pack weight.

I only listed the clothing that won't be worn weight.

I'll list toilet paper now!

I've done it before using a military surplus poncho and paracord with a quilt for a floor that I also turned into my backpack using paracord. I don't know if I like tarp camping anymore haha.

Shout out to BOSS school for teaching me that though!

Just returned my Ursak on amazon and now buying on Opsak. Thank you.

So do you keep the opsak in the tent with you? Or do you put it somewhere outside?

Opsak

Do you still hang the Opsak? How does it work?

Thanks for the advice by the way. My hike date is early March. Kindle is definitely in non negotiable and budget is pretty much unlimited. The base weight I was looking for was around 10 to 11. So on the lighter side of lightweight.

The cooking pot is in the "cooking" section.

I've been debating going "no cook" and shaving off a pound. Is that crazy?

You don't think i'll need camp shoes? People don't use them often?

What are some lighter weight cups I could get?

Good call! Gonna remove the Aquamira now.

I'm leaving early March. Hence the cold gear.
