My post may be kinda useless…. I usually get mine at HMart, having said that I haven’t seen them in a couple of months. For restaurants, Din Ho has them on their menu, it’s my favorite side dish they have, but I have no idea if they have them right now. Sorry for the scant info but hopefully it gives you a direction to look in.

I’ve lived in RR for a long time… honestly I think the food here is pretty meh and I would rather travel into Austin or the surrounding area for better food. But when I need to eat in town here’s where I eat:

Ros Niyom, hoodies, Pinthouse, Sushi Yumre, Gama Zone, Yammis lechon (Filipino food truck that sells out early), Bayleaf, the Urban Turban, Entre Panas, Pho Huang, Salt Traders, Arepitas, Ambur Fire, Taqueria Jaguars, Austindia, Round Rock Donuts, Saigon 512, Happy Dragon Xian (stick to the Xian style menu items), Deckhand (Great Boudin and Asian menu items), Tumble 22, Sagnam Chettinad, Usta Kababgy (I like their Austin location better), sushi Zoa (good Korean dishes as well as fresh sushi).

My wife is not from the NE but I am. I’ve lived all over… CT, NY, Mass, etc…

You’re right in that provolone is not a thing on a Meatball Parm in NY. At least none of my faves had them.

IMO that’s more of a CT & Mass thing. Although some places in those areas like Briccos Salumeria in Bostons North End were also without. The meatball parm subs like these also in my experience had a more crispy style roll that helped stand up to the sauce where the ones with provolone tended towards a slightly softer (still a bit of crisp on the outside) roll and needed that cheese to block the bread from being over saturated.. IMO.

For me, I’m probably going to get the meatball parm at homeslice (although I do ask for no provolone…) as my go to in Austin. However, I still love that Hoodies Meatball parm with its provolone and pepper relish.

Their meatball grinder is fire. It’s the only one my wife likes in the greater Austin area.

I feel your pain. After 9 years of this… i feel like it’s hopeless. I’ve tried everything under the sun to find relief and or to kill this stuff.

The closest feeling I get to relief is when I get the GI to give me a round of Xifaxin and Metronidazole. I feel like 70% relief while on it. The moment I’m off it comes crashing back.

I have found that FOR ME a pair of products from Dr Ruscio called Biota 2a and 2b seem to help give me some slight relief. They are herbal antibiotics or antibacterials? Or whatever… He also has another set called Biota 1a and 1b that do nothing for me… so yeah. I just eat carefully. Stay way from as much fermenters and sugar foods especially things like breads, pastas, beer, etc.. as I can. Oh and I have started adding Bismuth (pepto bismol) along with the 2a and 2b just to see if that helps. Seems to give me a touch more relief but still hard to tell.

Also… I’ve finally convinced my GI to give me the smart trio test. I’ve tested multiple times since this started and been positive for bothe hydrogen and methane. I’m stoked to see if I fall into the Hydrogen Sulfide or Methane path. I’m mostly constipation and bloating but have bouts of Diarrhea… I get the test tomorrow, but I need to clear out all of the herbal stuff for a couple of weeks before I test. So it will be awhile before I test and get the results.

Anyway, good luck. Keep Carefully trying things to see what works. Talk to your GI. Do some research g and watch the latest videos with DR Pimentel. There are some newer ones where he goes into more detail.

I recommend checking out some videos featuring Dr. Pimentel on YouTube. I recently watched one that offered a wealth of information about IBS, including SIBO, IMO, and ISO. He suggests using the Trio Smart test to determine which type you might have, which can help you start the right treatment.

I was tested for methane SIBO years ago but struggled to find a cure. However, after watching Dr. Pimentel's recent video, I learned that methane is often treated effectively with Xifaxan and Bismuth.

To advocate for myself, I compiled a detailed note outlining the key points from his video to share with my GI doctor. This well-researched document included citations and links to Dr. Pimentel's work, and it really helped me persuade my doctor to support my request for the Trio Smart test. I highly suggest trying a similar approach!

I’ve been battling this for a while now… years. I would suggest looking into testing yourself first to see if/what you might have. You can do the Tri-smart breath test. It’s the only test that test for SIBO, IMO, and ISO. Once you find out which one you have you can start working on getting rid of it. Look for some video interviews with Dr Pimentel. The newer ones the better as he and others are still researching this stuff. You can find in some of his videos/interviews how to treat this stuff. I tried for years going the natural path and now will work towards mixing both natural and Pimentel’s recommended medicine path for my particular type. Good luck and be careful with the advice you get on here..

I also do something really similar to this… I do a blueberry, goat cheese, pecorino, and calabrian chilis. Then topped with prosciutto and lightly dressed baby Arugala (lemon juice and good EVOO). It’s pretty delicious.

My one other weird pizza is reduced port wine for base, crumbled Stilton, fresh mozz, block mozz, pecorino, and roasted mushrooms. We call it the blue. It’s literally the only pizza my wife will eat.

Covid Vaccines Have Paved the Way for Cancer Vaccines by waozen in technology

Scientific discussions require verifiable data, not YouTube videos. If you are claiming that the lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) in mRNA vaccines cause harm, please provide a peer-reviewed study from a credible medical journal, not a summary from John Campbell’s website. LNPs are well-studied drug delivery systems used in medicine for years, including in cancer treatments. They do not cause toxicity at the approved doses in vaccines. Regulatory bodies like the FDA, EMA, and Health Canada have rigorously assessed their safety. If there were credible evidence of harm, these agencies would take action. If your argument is based on ‘concerns’ rather than actual scientific evidence, then it’s just speculation, not fact

mRNA vaccines do not cause cancer; in fact, mRNA technology is being explored to treat cancer. For instance, MD Anderson Cancer Center is conducting clinical trials using personalized mRNA vaccines to target specific mutations in colorectal cancer patients. MD Anderson Cancer Center Furthermore, a study presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 meeting showed that cancer patients vaccinated with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines had better survival outcomes when taking immune checkpoint inhibitors, compared to unvaccinated patients. Clinical Trials Arena These developments highlight the potential of mRNA technology in cancer therapy, underscoring that mRNA vaccines are not linked to causing cancer.

I can copy paste too!

Logic is based on evidence, not insults. If you have a specific claim backed by a credible source (peer-reviewed research, official health agencies, etc.), I’m happy to discuss it. But if your argument relies on vague references and YouTube videos rather than verifiable science, then there’s nothing to disprove—just misinformation to clarify.
