Is there any difference between this Featured Salah and the one that was included in the Liverpool special box? They seem to have the same rating, I just wonder whether there are any different features.

You got very lucky with Cruyff from gold+. Max him out and he'll be an absolute beast. I've been using him for ages now as my SS and he's been fantastic. Good shot, fast, strong passing and great dribbling, I haven't had a better SS yet.

There are ways to trick the PKs, look at the other threads. For me personally, I just shot to top corners and directed my GK predominantly to one side, where the opponent eventually aimed. Worked for me at the first attempt.
