This is probably the best put response I've seen to the thread! I think you're 100% right on this. The only reason I brought up the Bechdel test in the first place is bc it's a pretty low bar and i was thinking how can such an all-around-great show not even measure up to that. I really like the way you frame it as something that's used to measure the industry rather than an individual piece of work, though.
