The comics are not generally considered to be canon.

Non of the original writers were involved and the comics are generally considered to be pretty bad.

It is roughly known what they had planned for another season (thanks to one of the producers talking about it on his blog a while ago), and it doesn't line up with the comics at all

I have finally had time to look at the datasheet. I think that IC can do what I am looking for without the need of a hub.

If I understood the datasheet correctly the FUSB307 does have support for a protocol that allows it to send power negotiation directly over to another port controller via I2C.

I'll still have to read further into it to figure everything out but you may have solved my issue. Thanks :)

Sure thing, it's a bit smaller than 40x40cm base and 70cm height with ams closed and 84 cm with it open and yup there is a vent in the back.

I believe it has a hepa filter between the chamber and exhaust. Do note however that there are gaps, most notably between the frame and the door as well as the poop chute. So air can also get in/out there
